Well, why dont lets try to guess the game storyline, i mean, peach isnt kindap so we are going to have an all-new story.

Maybe, Mario & Friends were celebrating some sort of holiday with this subcon-like creatures, but then bowser appears and crashes the party, he trieds to kindap peach but mario save her earlier, angry, he steal the subcon-like people and want use thier power to, what esle, take over the world OF COURSE!!!, now, mario and friends go after bowser to save the day.

It's called the game over screen.

Well you know how it is with most developers and whatnot: screw the bad guys the good guys only win
 
Maybe Bowser is just trying to rule without holding the princess captive. It really didn't accomplish much when he took her away honestly, he would still get his ass beat. Just skip a step so we can play as a female character.

Before that, Nintendo should explain why many known characters never appear in any celebration.

Uh, if we play as Mario, it would be that players devote themselves, get nothing but failure in the end, and as result the sales are reduced. We must play as Bowser himself in this case.

If you simply say that make Bowser playable in SMB, it's much more harder than Peach's, due to their figures. At least Bowser had got many playable appearances in spinoffs and RPGs.

IMO, Bower already wins on the fact that Peach and Mario never prevent their kingdom and themselves from being invaded.

Wario is in diamond city stealing money from thier co-workers, Daisy in sarasaland, DK in his island, Waluigi gets stuck in his pinball...with luck nintendo can make some cameo.

Still...why bowser wouldn´t kindap peach now?
 
The srptory is going to be Bowser trying to invade the mushroom kingdom.

It should be directly shown in every opening movie, if it's the answer they think. And it doesn't work for local residents like Toadette.

Since most celebrations in SMB are national and important, I don't think none of them aren't invited while they can be in minor sport tounaments. It should be Peach's personal date (like NSMBU) or she tries to be socially isolated.

It onced said that Daisy stays in Mushroom Kingdom for a while, but no more cameo scene talk about this fact. For Wario bros, their relationship with Peach is less mentioned so I'm not sure if they're invited everytime (plus, they and DK have own games so they wouldn't have important roles in SMB).

i had a crazy idea...we all know 3DWorld has the Mario Bros 2 character with thier movest, so i think we are going to have many reference to that game...so...what if WART make a cameo as a Boss in World 7, look this, the game already told us that Bowser is in the game and he will be the main villain again, and i think wart isnt exactly that kind of villain who is courage enough to try to best bowser and use his troops for his own, so maybe he is working for bowser but the game will never say that until we see it as a surprise boss in world 7, just before bowser´s world, the only problem with this theory is the lack of shy guys and the 8bit Gang so far.

I personally don't like that saying. Some references are okay but don't make too much for a single game because it's just another kind of formula. For example, Peach should be playable in this game not because she has an old reference.

For Wart or Tatanga, I think they fit more in previous Galaxy games. One is an alien invader, and the other can be a tribal ruler in Frog Planet.
 
This looks SO much more fun than 3D Land (which personally, I didn't really like), what with multiplayer & those clear pipes.

Tatanga'd fit in SMG, but Wart's not from a frog planet, he's from a dream world: it'd be more fitting if he showed up in M&L:DT, if anything (or in this undeniably SMB2-influenced game).
 
I don't mind seeing Wart or Tatanga appear again but as minor villians. I'd rather have Bowser or someone new as the main antagonist.
 
One thing that needs to be fixed in this game is the bosses, they were horrible. Each boss should be different, fun and challenging.
