Sweet, it's released in Australia in two days.

Yeah, one of the few times I'm able to get a game early and it's one I'm not even interested. I might buy it one day, but I doubt it. Bowser's Inside Story completely threw me off the Mario & Luigi. PiT was good but I didn't enjoy BIS.
You like PIT more than BIS? BIS was the best Mario game EVER!!!

Opinions.

BIS wasn't enjoyable for me but PiT kept me entertained enough to play through a second time. I didn't like any Bowser segment; not because of the character, but because everything was large and made it so you could barely see in front of you when walking around. I had to scan all over the place to find anything, the segment at the castle made for the bros. was better because I could see where I was going and what was around me giving me an idea of where to go and I didn't spend so much time checking corners to see if anything was there. The 2D Segments were also cluttered and platforming in these games are not their strong point, it's the worst point and they were pretty much entirely platforming so I hated them. The best part was the castle section when the bros. aren't with Bowser and that just made me realise that I'd have a better time playing PiT again since it's got a lot more of this castle section gameplay but with more variety and the game's areas are made specifically for the bros and not for two different sized characters with different abilities. Stick to one character (group in this case, but they're basically one) when it comes to designing the areas and everything became a lot better. I hated walking around areas designed for Bowser with the bros, everything is overly large and I spent more time walking through empty space then I should have.

I don't enjoy Mario & Luigi games much if that wasn't obvious enough.

I honestly just like all the Mario & Luigi games. Each had their own strengths, like I felt that BiS had the best gameplay and mechanics, PiT had the best cutscenes and areas, and SS had the best characters and originality.

I just really need to stop looking at all this DT news before I completely spoil myself. But it's SO hard...

I played a little bit of PiT, but maybe I just suck at the gameplay, or something, because I couldn't for the life of me get past the first proper boss (The 1337 Hammer Bros)

I've never played PiT but but people tell me that 1337 Hammer Bros are only mini-bosses and thar shroob wigglier is the first proper boss. Just pointing tqhat out.

Anyway not sure when I will buy this but I'm unsure if I'll get this or fe:a first.

I'm stuck on yet another part of the game:
MarioandLuigiStuckatStone.png

The ground tells me I have to push the Block, but I'm not sure how.
Video of it is currently Uploading, but I'm a bit impatient, so I probably skipped the hint somewhere.

The Screenshot was made after visiting the Tour Centre, so that's not the problem.
Or did I misunderstood you?

Edit:
I've misunderstood you, I've got it now.

You know, can't you spoiler discussion about areas and puzzles of the game and things you're supposed to do?

The music in this game sounds really good. Also enemy attacks seem to be longer and more powerful.

Okay Nabber, whatever you want.
Done.

Just picked up a copy today: it starts off quite slow (I've only just entered Pi'illo Castle), but the scripting, graphics and music is incredible.

I've been following up with MKGirlism.

MKG: Do you think you're about halfway through the game, or you don't know? 14 hours is a lot of the game, and I'm thinking that you have to be very far.

Of course, the game will probably take about 30 hours if it is bigger than the previous installments, which I hope...

I have this but however because lack of time and wanting to do other things, I win't be playing it till tomorrow.

Finally found the final boss themes.

They are...epic.

Omg, I loved the last one because it was like a remix of all the themes in the game and some other stuff. It had like the main theme in it with Antasma's theme hidden, and a lot of chord sounds that are found in my Bowser themes. It was so cool.

Why are people believing Fawful is in this game? No one has yet progressed through the game to find out, but I'm guessing he isn't in it.

From all the info that I've seen on the game, it looks like both Fawful and Cackletta are not going to be in the game.

Which makes sense, since both have died.

what bmb is saying is, dont give your hopes up.

While theoretically they can be in the game, NO ONE has seen any evidence of them in the game yet, which may be concerning to those wishing for fawful or cackleta(sp?).

so in a nutshell again; dont get your hopes up.

Someone on GameFAQs said Fawful is in the game, but he wouldn't spoil it. One of the Zeekeepers at the beginning of the game says "I have excitement!" if you talk to him. Since they are all in costumes, it could have been him.

Here's the link to the topic where he said it:

He refers to another character who he thinks could be Fawful, but I looked it up and it just looked like a normal block guy to me. But he seems sure Fawful appears later, so yeah my hopes are up.

I really think it would be cool to see Fawful be in the game as a ghost, and have a lot of past enemies been seen in the dream world.

Just a complete optional quest where you basically have a blast from the past...:P

They have the potential.

The game has the potential for a lot of things, and the developers can only fit so much of that into a 2-8 gig 3DS cartridge.

But the game has been completed and has been for a while now, and now whatever potential they could have used simply has not been.

If he wouldn't spoil it, he'd put that info in black highlights...

Which don't do anything. I have my account set to show whatever's in black highlights, simply because of my phone. If I highlight that stuff with my phone, it still don't show anything, so I'm set to automatically show it so I can read it on my phone, should I be interested.
