well fawful an dimentio both seem pretty similar to him, watered down versions, but the similarities are pretty immense,

True, very true. So that means that quite possibly every boss encounter luigi has had in the past could possibly show up in this game, in theory.

3. Finally, a section of the story about Luigi and his jealousy of always being outshone by Mario, and because of this, he has pictured Mario as a bad guy and his dreams. Something like "Nightmare Mario" or "Luigi's Nightmare" or something where an evil version of Mario as a major boss in the dreams would be awesome.

There is a scene of Mario walking in some place with Shadow-like Luigis, then with text saying "Don't leave me behind, big bro".

There's two ways that statement is wrong.
