When I heard a bit of Mario Kart DS Peach Gardens in the Mario Golf Peach Gardens course, I flipped out. MKDS is my childhood.Rocket '3Koon said:Finally convinced my cheap ass to get the DLC. Very pleased. The remixed music gives me a warm fuzzy.
Ahh, I'm not there yet. But, I'm excited!Ninelevendo said:I think the parts from Bowser in the dark land in the Bowser Courses were great. They took me back to SM64 (DS, of course).Diantha said:When I heard a bit of Mario Kart DS Peach Gardens in the Mario Golf Peach Gardens course, I flipped out. Anyway Gold Mario is a terrible character because he always has the fire flower ability, the heavy bouncing effect of his ball is hell on humps. And no approch shots at all. The only purpose of this character is to get coins.
Star Open?Ninelevendo said:After the Star Open, you can buy them from the shop with a hefty price tag.
Just after it finishes, you don't need to qualify to get the items afterwards.ThreeThousand said:Well apparently I don't qualify for that.

What's it called? Star something at least? That big tournament like that only the top 60% in world tournaments can play in?Rosalina and Luma said:Star Open?Ninelevendo said:After the Star Open, you can buy them from the shop with a hefty price tag.

Besides what's been said before about qualifying for it, the Star Open itself is a major tournament that takes place on a revamped to be difficult Seaside Course. Every hole is considerably different, and it now has tournament greens (along with tournament tees if I'm remembering right).Rosalina and Luma said:Star Open?Ninelevendo said:After the Star Open, you can buy them from the shop with a hefty price tag.

Would you prefer Silver Luigi?Cynthia said:yoshiking14x said:How popular is Gold Mario compared with Metal Mario?
Metal Mario is 100000 times cooler than Gold Mario. And I like Silver more than Gold.
I still saw the Castle Tournamnet Gear in the shop even though I had already received it. But otherwise I wouldn't know if you missed out on the major gear. If that's the case, I think I might actually bother to do the Star Open now.Robin said:Ninelevendo said:Just after it finishes, you don't need to qualify to get the items afterwards.ThreeThousand said:Well apparently I don't qualify for that.

Actually, the gear you get from major tournaments doesn't appear in the shop.

No because I prefer Mario over Luigi and Metal Mario is pretty much Silver Mario.
The well-priced DLC literally doubles the content, and the game is stuffed with it and then some as it is originally.Yuki Nagato said:was on the fence about getting this, anyone care to convince me it's worth a pick up?
