Most emotional video game you've played?

What is the most emotional game you've played? You know, something that made you want to cry (or perhaps, got you infuriated or an other emotion).

For me, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

I almost cried at the ending. So sad! With Fi leaving and everything and the Zelda and Link stuff and Impa..........

After that, maybe Super Paper Mario or something

Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater. Very sad near the end.

Also I cried during Lego Lord of the Rings for some reason. Perhaps it was the sadness in the films that made me upset in the game, especially hearing Boromir's cries for Frodo's forgiveness.

"Frodo I'm sorry!"

The Walking Dead is pretty far up there for me, I would say.

I don't really get emotional from games.

But I think Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2's ending was pretty sad.

Fire Emblem has its moments. There's this one part in Awakening that's just...

RIP Mustafa

The Walking Dead is perhaps one of the few games that can consistently make me feel like crying my eyes out, especially during the deaths.

Duck, Larry, Lilly, Shaun, Katjaa, Ben, Kenny, Carley, Doug, Irene, Chuck, Lee... The only person whose death I didn't feel sorry for was that scumbag doctor from Episode 4.

Pong, sometimes when I miss the ball I just... I just don't know, man...

More seriously, TWD was pretty sad.

Dragon Age: Origins.

Personally I found Twilight Princess's ending more emotional than Skyward Sword.

Midna was such a more dynamic character than Fi, who was essentially like a robot, so it was sadder to see Midna go

Soap's death was awful

Idk about that

Soap was such a flat character by that point of the game.

Storytelling pretty much went out the window after COD4 in the Modern Warfare Trilogy

Portal. Test 17... I'll never forget it.

But seriously now, the Professor Layton games. Particularly 2, 3, and Miracle Mask were touching.

Metal Gear Solid 3, from the middle of the final boss to the end of the credits, was a nonstop emotional ride.
Also, The Walking Dead, especially the final scene, was just too much.

(i assume you mean sad emotions)

Mother 3, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2, and MGS3 are the only ones I can recall right now. I thought all three had equally touching scenes and music that helped accentuate it.

Edit: Shit, how could I forget Professor Layton and the Unwound Future (that fucking ending, man), Professor Layton and the Last Specter, and Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask. Kind of surprising for a puzzle game to make you sad.

Mother 3, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2, super mario sunshine, paper mario: the thousand year door, hey you pikachu (I get so sad when pikachu leaves you), Earthbound Zero (Ninten, ana and loyd singing just made me tear up), Pokémon Channel (looking at the starry sky..... sigh).

I still found it pretty sad though
