Question 2 - Winning Bracket - Toad vs. S2D

At some point in history, humans evolved into a point where they started to very closely resemble the humans of today. Around when did that happen?

A. 100 000 years ago
B. 1 000 000 years ago
C. 500 000 years ago
D. 200 000 years ago [Toad/S2D]
Around two hundred-thousand years before today, humans evolved into what is known as "Anatomically modern humans", which are exactly what they sound like.
Toad and S2D will be receiving a second question.

Question 2 - Winning Bracket - BMB vs. Gutseh vs. Cirdec

Which of the following dinosaurs did not make a physical appearance anywhere in the Jurassic Park series, movies and novels included?

A. Hypsilophodon
B. Maiasaura [Cirdec]
C. Mamenchisaurus [Gutseh]
D. Ceratosaurus
E. Suchomimus [BMB]
F. Microceratops

While the Hypsilophodon, Maiasaura, Mamenchisaurus, Ceratosaurus, and Microceratops all make physical appearances in the various Jurassic Park stuff, the Suchomimus appears solely when Billy, one of the main characters, tries to identify which dinosaur attacked them. For the record, it was a Spinosaurus.
BMB moves up while Gutseh and Cirdec stay where they are.

Question 2 - Losing Bracket - SM vs. Rocker

Who was the author of the two novels on which the Jurassic Park movies are based on?

A. Michael Crichton [SonicMario/Rocker]
B. Stephen King
C. Kathy Reichs
D. Nicholas Sparks

Stephen King, Kathy Reichs, and Nicholas Sparks are all talented authors with a repertoire of novels under their names, but Michael Crichton is the one who wrote the inspiration for the Jurassic Park movies, among many other things.
SM and Rocker will be receiving a second question.

Question 2 - Losing Bracket - NSM vs. Nabber vs. LN1

Which of these dinosaurs did not appear in the movie King Kong?

A. Aciedactylus
B. Sylvaceratops [Nabber]
C. Ferrucutus [NSM]
D. Velociraptor [LN1]
E. Hebeosaurus
F. Parasaurolophus

A plethora of dinosaurs appear on Skull Island, including the Aciedactylus, Sylvaceratops, Ferrucutus, Hebeosaurus, and Parasaurolophus, but oddly enough, Velociraptors do not make an appearance.
LN1 is safe from being at the bottom; a second question will be sent to NSM and Nabber.

All of the question-sending will happen tomorrow; I am really tired right now.

Re: User Total Drama Action (Week 8: A Bone to Pick)

I really don't know everything, but when it comes to science, I seem to know a lot more than you think.

But Dinosaur and Prehistoric talk is my thing. I have spent all my childhood watching Jurassic Park, looking up so many random facts as a kid, watching The Land Before TIme and just singing along with Littlefoot, Cera, Ducky, Petrie and Spike, and reading so many dinosaur books.

No joke, if any challenge was my strongest, this would be the one hands down. I am just in love with Dinosaurs, and I don't know why. I always found the topic very interesting.

Besides, Time Turner seems to have only asked me questions that I know, so we'll see how well he can get me in this one.

A. Hypsilophodon - Read in the books.
B. Maiasaura - Known from the books as well.
C. Mamenchisaurus - They were the ones that were running through the forest from the hunters in Lost World, and only know that because I looked it up a few years back.
D. Ceratosaurus - Was in Jurassic Park III, when they are digging for the phone in the dino droppings.
E. Suchomimus - The only one I was unsure about because I didn't read them in the novels or saw them in any of the three movies.
F. Microceratops - I read it in the novels as well.

So yeah.

Let me explain...

I am always amazed at the Human mind and the vast expansion that information can be stored in it. I always want to be enlightened by information, so I spend basically all of my free time here and looking up information for fun. I dunno why, but I always find that learning new information to be...fun. That is why I seem to know a lot of trivial facts, and it's why in the future I'm going to spend a few years studying aboard just to learn things I never would have learned here in America.
