Re: User Total Drama Action (Week 8: A Bone to Pick)

Did Toad and Smg2daisy send in the back-up question?

Also, Gutesh, you got lucky that I mixed up symmetrical and asymmetrical. I meant the one that didn't look the same on both sides.

Re: User Total Drama Action (Week 8: A Bone to Pick)

I didn't get a backup question yet.

I'll make up a question for you Time Turner.

I'm sure they'll love to get a Dinosaur question from me. :D
I'm... not sure that would necessarily be fair. In any case, I believe that I've sent out the questions to everyone that needs it. Tell me if you were supposed to receive one, but didn't.

Question 2.5 - Winning Bracket - Toad vs. S2D

Which one of these facts about the Tyrannosaurus rex is true?

A. They have feathers
B. They are warm-blooded
C. They are solely predators
D. They practiced cannibalism [Toad/S2D]

The Tyrannosaurus being predators or being warm-blooded has never been indisputably proven, while them having feathers is certainly false. However, recent evidence shows that the Tyrannosaurus may have, in fact, eaten its own species to survive.
Third time's the charm.

Question 2.5 - Losing Bracket - SM vs. Rocker

What genus of dinosaur were velociraptors a part of?

A. Oviraptorosaurs‎ [Rocker]
B. Dromaeosaurs [SM]
C. Therizinosaurs‎
D. Ornithomimosaurs‎

Oviraptorosaurs, Dromaeosaurs, Therizinosaurs, and Ornithomimosaurs‎ are all families of the clade Coelurosauria, but Dromaeosaurs are the one that the velociraptor is a part of.‎
SonicMario is safe, but Rocker moves down.

Question 2.5 - Losing Bracket - NSM vs. Nabber

Which of the following is not a Titanosaur?

A. Puertasaurus
B. Elaltitan [NSM]
C. Atlasaurus [Nabber]
D. Bonitasaura

Titanosaurs were some of the heaviest creatures to walk the earth, and the Puertasaurus, Elaltitan, and Bonitasaura all fall into that category. However, the Atlasaurus is, in fact, a Brachiosaur.
NSM has been bumped down yet again.

Question 2.75 - Winning Bracket - S2D vs. Toad

Around how much money did the first Jurassic Park movie make worldwide?

A. 1 000 000 000 (1 billion) [Toad]
B. 500 000 000 (500 million) [Smg2daisy]

D. 500 000 (500 thousand)

Domestically, Jurassic Park made 401,186,857 dollars. Internationally, the movie made 566,200,000 dollars. Those numbers combined make a grand total of $967,386,857, a number that rounds neatly to one billion.

Four people left. Two are competing for a chance at protection; two, for the chance to be heard. For the winners, we have Toad vs. BMB, and for the losers, we have Rocker vs. NSM. Let's get ready to rumble!

It's me. I am busy buying flowers with my mother, aunt, and grandma. I'll send it in when I get back. Sorry the hold-up.

EDIT - Answered the question. I honestly had no idea...

Cirdec said:
BMB had no idea? That's a scoop. :D

It was one that I really had no idea. It could have been anything. I know that three of them are more lizard-like an appearance and the other one was more bird-like, so I chose the one that was more bird-like.

Re: User Total Drama Action (Week 8: A Bone to Pick)

note to self: that was a bad idea

B. Avimimus [Toad/BMB]
C. Rugops
D. Tawa

Which of the following people were affiliated with both the first Jurassic Park movie and the first Land Before Time movie?

A. Pat Hingle
B. George Lucas
C. Jeff Goldblum [NSM/Rocker]
D. Bill Erwin

Question 3.5 - Winning Bracket - BMB vs. Toad

What year was American paleontologist Sue Hendrickson born on?

A. 1952
B. 1950
C. 1949 [BMB/Toad]
D. 1948

In the year of 1959, on the 12th of August, Sue Hendrickson was born at Chicago, Illinois. She then went on to be a paleontologist and the one to discover a near-complete Tyrannosaurus skeleton.
Let's see if they can keep the tie streak up.

Question 3.5 - Losing Bracket - Nabber vs. NSM

Which of the following years did a Land Before Time movie not come out on?

A. 2005 [Nabber]
B. 1988
C. 2000 [NSM]
D. 1995

1988 had The Land Before Time; 1995 had The Land Before Time III: The Time of the Great Giving; 2000 had The Land Before Time VII: The Stone of Cold Fire. However, there was no continuation of the franchise ever released in the year of 2005.
With Nabber successfully succeeding with this question, NSM is officially the ultimate loser. As such, his vote will not count during the next Gilded Reversinator Award.
