Do some cross section problems, where yo have to do the Integral of R(x)^2 - r(x)^2 and all of that, and maybe have it rotate around the y-axis for fun. (I'm just joking)

Sorry, I mixed Cross Sections and area between two curves into one.
With the area between two curves, we do the integral of R(x) [top function] - r(x) [bottom function]. The square was with the cross sections of the integral of (f(x)-g(x))^2.

I can tell you for this question it was a bit different than usually, Mario4Ever sent his response fast while BMB was hesitant and decided to use his 50:50, and was still unsure his response was right. Cirdec, can you explain why that is Pi/2? I think I understand why, but I just want to double check. I mean, I understand that it was taking the integral to get the arctan, but I didn't really understand from there.

Tension is high, while Mario4Ever still has the very useful pass joker, BMB has nothing, he has no margin for error. So for the question, I think you might not know it, but you both surprised more than once, so maybe it could be again a question swept by you. The quiz started with 8 candidates, though 2 of them were inactive. Questions passed and 4 of them got defeated by the questions waves. But 2 very strong candidates, BMB and Mario4Ever, still resist. Since the 14th question they do a fierce battle and none of them fell down. Now here we are, the 30th question. For this I choose, I believe, a very hard question for you, hoping it is at the height of your knowledge. Let's see if you will be able to get it.
