Most Disappointing Mario Game

Another problem is that Luigi is silent in the game too. Why? He's supposed to be the talkative guy as well. Just look at him speak in Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door! I hate how he's silent.

Even worse than that, they gave Luigi a pathetically insignificant and minor role, despite him getting a progressively larger one with each installment.

I loved Sticker Star. However, I think Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games was the most disappointing game.

Which version? 3DS or Wii?

Then I understand, since my sister owns that game. I find it hilariously absurd that the characters are categorized so that it makes the game look even more ludicrous by blatant stereotyping

SUPER MARIO 3D LAND!

TOO SHORT! TOO LINEAR! Enough said!

I find it disappointing because there is hardly any challenge in the game and it's way too short. It's like they were trying to mix super mario 64 with super mario bros. They both are good games but that does not mean that mixing them together will make it even better.

PMSS, SMG2, and that goddawful shit I dare not even mention.
If you don't mention it, we won't know what you're talking about.

I swear, we're the only Mario community that hates SMG2.

Pyro you are taking about NSMB2.

Also only half of us seems to like Smg2 and I never really got why.

On topic Stickier Star even though it was still decent.

That's not necessarily a bad thing :P

SMG2 wasn't horrible, but it started to feel stale. Didn't really add anything on.

I agree. Super Mario Galazy 2 wasn't a bad game per se, just felt too much of the same. Like, it could have been DLC. Still think it doesn't deserve the praise it gets. (no that "typo" was intended)

I also disliked how a good amount of levels were just repeats of levels from other games.

Well nearly everything in Super Mario Galazy 2 was a repeat from Super Mario Galaxy. The engine and the gameplay concepts are the worst offender.

There were some redeeming qualitys in the game like some of the throwback stuff to Super mario 64 and and the inclusion of yoshi but beyond that, it was just more of the same with a harder difficulty.
