Most Disappointing Mario Game

I'm sure Mario Kart 7 was a bigger disappointment than Super Mario Kart and Mario Kart 64 (even if the latter two are objectively bad games when compared to today)

Mario Kart DS and 7 were both sub par to me. I only bought them because wireless multiplayer is SO much more convenient than the assload of wires that you needed for Super Circuit (which was still my favorite handheld MK game).

I guess I have to mention Sticker Star. An awesome game on its own, but when Nintendo said they'd go back to the turnbased style of the first two, they really half-assed it.

Super Paper Mario was an awesome game except I felt embarrassed playing it around my male friends.

I don't have to read the thread to see half of it being Sticker Star.

Anyway, I think Mario Party 4 was a bit of a let down. It was just so boring. *OPINIONS START* The maps were dull, the mini-games weren't fun and it was so fucking slow. *OPINIONS END* Okay cool.

I can't speak for Super Mario Kart, but I still love Mario Kart 64. Super Circuit, on the other hand...

I didn't particuarly enjoy Super Circuit, mainly because of the huge arc that the player makes when turning a corner. I found it slightly irritating when I couldn't turn sharp enough and always end up in a grass patch (don't even get me started on Rainbow Road). It is avoidable if the player brakes slightly before turning, but then one would obviously lose speed and often so, the race...

Quick question agent smith, after you get tired of being agent smith, are you going to change your name to Lord Elrond?

definitly mario is missing! I mean luigi finally gets a game and it was a shitty educational game (not saying that educational games are inherently bad i'm just saying that this one was terrible

Paper Mario: Sticker Star. It's unworthy of being in the same series as the masterpieces called Paper Mario and Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. Super Paper Mario was just ok.

Actually, I've changed my mind, Yoshi's Island DS was the most disappointing game.

Even worse than that, they gave Luigi a pathetically insignificant and minor role, despite him getting a progressively larger one with each installment.

Indeed. I was SHOCKED to move on from SPM, where he was playable, to a EASTER EGG HUNTING EGG in SS.
