Overrated games

how does that make it a game exactly
 
I'll have to say Pokemon R/B/Y. There are so many flaws in it, mainly the item inventory limit, and I always hear: "Old ones are the best new ones suck oh lololol"

Actually, it is a good thing to "play moderator" on someone when you know they are doing something wrong. It shouldn't take "the moderators" to be the only ones to correct and warn people. That's like if you see one of your classmates at school doing something bad and you don't say anything about it but you wait until the school, principal or your teacher finds out.

Backseat modding is a word made by people on the internet who don't want to be told off for their wrong doing. Backseat modding is not bad, it's being responsible on the internet.

No, if you see someone doing something bad, you click the "Report to moderator" button and hope for the best, you don't take the law into your own hands. Nobody here is Batman.

On topic: Apart from some really nice visuals, I really think the Uncharted series get too much credit for being just mediocre shooters.

But it is good to say something unless it is something like a flamewar.

Somebody1: I feel that sonic is better than mario, he's cooler.

Somebody1: Sonic has alternate routes that keeps the game fresh and goodies you can find also. Also, sonic is speedier than mario
Somebody2: Mario is speedy also. Unlike sonic, you can choose to go slow or speed run through levels.

Somebody3: Um, I don't think it is a good idea to debate and bicker over which game series is better. You both have your own opinions of which one is better. It's best for both of you to end this argument and respect each other's opinions. Trying to prove which one is better is not repecting each other's opinions. None of us have the right to dictate what games are better and what games are bad. However, we do have the right to express our opinions on what we feel is better and what we feel is bad and all of us have to cooperate by respecting each others opinions. Also, I am glad that none of you have resulted to swearing or name calling during this whole ordeal, I do have to acknowledge that much but please respect each others opinions.

So yeah, that's what I meant by "playing moderator" good thing to do depending on the case-scenario. If it's something severe, you should not interfere. You should just inform the moderators immediately. However, if it is something simple like the examples I mentioned above, It is a good idea to step in on it. The moderators shouldn't be the only ones to step in and say something in the case-scenerios mentioned above.

Most Pokemon games
Rayman 2: The Great Escape
Super Mario Bros 1-3
Super Mario Galaxy 2
Mario Kart 7
Sonic CD
Sonic and Knuckles

Right there^.

Basically all the main N64 (Super Mario 64, Zelda OoT, etc.) games people talk about. I don't care about the "nostalgia", they weren't really even that good and were flawed big time.

I really don't see the big hype for OoT either. Not a very interesting plot, boring once you beat it, and there was so much awkward glitches and bad views.

Super Mario 64 definitely wasn't the best mario game out there. It was a good game, but it wasn't the best, and people got to get over that fact. Hell, half of the gamers today have never even played the original Super Mario 64, and yet many of them say they like it because they were taught to like it. It was actually very boring after awhile.

And of course many of the sequels in the Wii cycle (SMG2, NSMB, etc.), and so on and so forth. I could go on a rant about them, but I won't.

And don't even get me started on PM: SS. If you want to see my comments, they should be all over the place about how I feel about Sticker Star.

Probably because of it getting much higher review scores than it deserved.
 
Well the fan reaction was much different than the reviews in Sticker Star

Whereas in SMG2's case, everyone except for here seems to think that that game is the best game ever.

It's metacritic rating is 75. That's not exactly high.

Well, he meant that 75 is too high for Sticker Star
 
Plus, there's the fact that sites like IGN and Game Informer gave it ratings like 8.3/10 and 8.5/10.
 
I hate how people hate on a game for being different, mind I don't think Sticker Star was amazing, it wasn't that flawed and yes it could being better but I still enjoyed it.
 
I hate how people blindly assume that other people hate a game just because it's different.

Dude, did you even read the criticisms for the game or are you gonna blindly, ignorantly assume that people hate the game for what it is?
