That picture does bring up an interesting note, because with Alfonzo taking over for Conductor Link when you're playing on the Spirit Tracks stage with Toon Link. There could be more of that for other characters. Maybe if Palutena is playable the Statue doesn't have those wings in the pic.

Heck, the Toon Link/Conductor Link thing could even be a loophole enough for Ridley to be a Stage Hazard AND a Playable Character.

It IS a bit strange that there's been quite a focus on Kid Icarus stuff in the Pics of the Day in limelight of the "leak"

Although really i think the kid icarus series is in need at least one more rep, dont care who it is though as uprising had a lot of good characters.

Oh yeah that too, f-zero only has captain falcon, but there are some good characters in f-zero though, not sure who would be picked though.

I disagree with that sentiment. Seems like a waste of a newcomer slot if you ask me.

I want Ganondorf to have a new moveset as well but that's not the way to go about doing it.

Also, about the Pit stuff, I do see a lot of hints at some news for Kid Icarus.

Maybe a new character, maybe...

Or maybe even Nintendo being like "let's hint people about a new Kid Icarus game announcement coming," (which I doubt).

Or maybe they just feel Pit is not getting another attention with the photos? He hasn't been in a lot of them iirc.

Sakurai isn't the one that works on the Kid Icarus games.

Sakurai isn't the one that works on the Kid Icarus games.

But he did develop Kid Icarus: Uprising.
