Also, Lumiose City? Really? I can't really imagine what clever things they could do with Lumiose City to make it interesting. With Spear Pillar, there was at least the laser beams blowing up half the level to spice things up.

To be fair, X and Y didn't really have those super cool locations that Diamond/Pearl/Platinum had (to me, at least). The only other areas from X/Y that I could probably see as memorable enough to get a stage would be Shalour City's tower of mega evolution or whatever it's called or Anistar's giant sundial thing, I guess. Maybe the Power Plant or Pokeball Factory just for that awesome music that plays there. I mean, the legendaries were fought/caught in a boring old laboratory. I really want a Distortion World stage though. Best area in the main series, in my opinion. Another reason why Gen IV is the best.

I could see Geosenge being a possibility, but Lumoise might be the best option.

A bit of news about Solid Snake. Hideo Kojima was in an interview. Here's the gist of it

Q: Will Snake be in Smash 4?'
A: "I'm not working on the game, so I don't know, but I don't think that's likely." "If Mr. Sakurai is watching this, well, please use Snake,"

I'll start with the bad news:

"Not working with the game": There were reports that Kojima himself worked on the stage we see in Brawl. So if he was not invited at all to the development. That's not a good sign.
"I don't think that's likely": This is a bit less vague then what we got about Sonic prior to his announcement in Smash 4 (Where all we got was a "We don't know!" or "It's up to Nintendo" sort of thing). So it a bit negative.
The fact he said "Please use Snake" when we know the roster has already been decided: That's a bit odd in itself

HOWEVER, this was his face upon hearing the question

That's a bit of a toothy grin to spread unfortunate news. It's possible this is a ruse to tease fans and just make Snake's return more of a surprise.

Got dang people stop bashing Brawl. Because when it comes down to it. Everyone payed that 40+ bucks to get it, played thru subspace. And you cannot say honestly it wasn't fun for the most part.
