Alright, I'll admit I haven't done a good job at all of keeping up with Smash updates, but...5 person matches?

You can't predict what the hell Sakurainis gonna do. It being out of left field makes it more believable. If you're gonna lie and post fakes, you would make them believable. The fact that this is a little odd doesn't hurt it at all. That being said, it is probably fake.

the shulk image just looks...REAL; dr. mario is a new render, there was a pic much earlier; i don't know where it was found, but it was EXACTLY the duck in the duck hunt dog's picture, not to mention that it's a pretty good series logo if that's the case

the ESRB0083 is throwing me off a little bit but maybe it's because i can't read anything but ESRBOOBS; not to mention the bowser jr render is actually different, WITH THE KOOPA CLOWN CAR

the fact that brinstar is in the stage select screen when it was just revealed today without fanfare, ALMOST proved this one for me...

that is, until i saw the mii fighters/custom fighter image; that one pretty much NAILS it for me, it seems like JUST the amount of detail sakurai would throw into a menu screen; ESPECIALLY when i realized that the 3 icons on the side of the mii fighters correspond to the 3 separate types on mii fighters; sword, brawler, and gunner; sword is in the top right, brawler is in the middle, and gunner is kinda cut off near the bottom

i think this is a legit leak, but i do have to ask... what is that part above dr. mario in the middle left pic?

press any button probably refers to the START SCREEN of the 3ds version, where you know, you hit any button to move on from the main menu :P

If this is true, then that DLC thing might be true to. In which case, Lucas, Wolf, Chorus Men, the Ice Climbers, and Snake would be DLC. That would mean every Brawl character other than Squirtle and Ivysaur would be back.

If all this is true, including DLC, then that's cool. The only real pain for me is the lack of Ridley. If he's disconfirmed after all that build up and teasing, then I'll be very disappointed with Sakurai.

i'm going to repost this part if only because it might actually make or break this ENTIRE LEAK; it is too damn detailed on that part, and it's too... sakurai to not be the menu

Because it's easier to make low quality fakes, probably.

BTW....did any of you look at the placements of the characters on that roster?

I don't see why they would group Yoshi with the Mario characters, and not just like right next to them but in between Bowser and Rosalina.

Not to mention that Dr. Mario/Dark Pit is all the way on the other side of the roster from the other Mario/KI characters, or the fact that Mario would have 7 characters or that 4 newcomers are left in the game when Sakurai said there were like a couple left.

Just too many things pointing to this being fake

tbh I'm not sure what to think, roster arrangement arguments are silly imo so I don't think it's instafake. At this point, I haven't seen anything that conclusively disproves/proves the leak for me, so I'm remaining skeptical. if it's real, cool, if it's not, it's had an impressive amount of effort put towards it. we'll know the full roster within a month anyway
