My stance on this whole thing is that it could really go either way. If it's real, then that's okay. But not having Ice Climbers or Ridley makes me upset. But I'd eventually get over it.

That is basically the downfall of this leak. The clones artwork is just altered of the existing characters.

That doesn't discredit the leak. Don't let your opinions color the legitimacy of it.

Someone could also make a custom Dr. Mario model and render it in a 3D program, if they really are a dedicated heart shattering low lifers.

Believe me, that method could make your 3D renders look real. Slap on some blur and bad quality images and...? Ta-da?

Really, the only thing I like about the "leak" is Shulk. The rest I really don't care about.

I don't know how "slots" factor in Smash Bros. Sure, they take up programming, model, and animation time, but they don't take another person's slots. It does look weird that these two have their own slots, but you can arrange the roster in creative ways.

No one is crying murder him. There's a difference with an opinion backed up with strong evidence and an opinion backed up with weak implications and logical fallacies. It's NOT the same level as "I think Sceptile deserves to be in the game", he's basically saying ANY leak without those characters are fake, which is laughably false. Ignorance can only be corrected with facts, and sometimes being blunt on calling him out is the only way he can change his obviously flawed perceptions.

NO ONE is saying "hurr durr brawl modding, it's false". I'm pretty sure your post is directed at me, since the Yoshi's Island pic in the leak, I called out for for POSSIBLY being a brawl mod, which could be very real.

You shouldn't be calling out on people who believe that it is possible that the images could be the result from Brawl modding, ESPECIALLY if said people calling it out has legitimate experience with Brawl modding aka me.

I read most of the thread and everyone seems to be parroting those specific statements, and I made a mistake in assuming that someone else had said that as well, so I'm sorry you took it as though I was calling you out. I never questioned your modding ability or any of that other stuff though

anyway, I'm also not happy with Ice Climbers and Lucas being used as DLC while Dr. Mario and Dark Pit (who could have honestly been palette swaps) get in the final game, sure Dr. Mario was cool in melee but did he seriously need priority over the ICs?

First, what do you define as a "mario" rep? Those with a Mushroom insignia?

Two more isn't that much more than Pokaymon, which had technically MORE reps than Mario, in Barlw.
