Paper Mario has just as much (if not more) moveset potential as Fawful. I can understand why you would want an original Mario RPG character to be playable, but you need to at least understand that Paper Mario has tons of moveset potential and has a low chance of being a Mario clone.

You understand you're using "moveset potential" as an argument?

Do you realize how stupid that argument is?

"Moveset potential" is hardly an argument for anything. If Nintendo can give a racecar driver(okay, a super futuristic racecar driver, but still) a fully-functional moveset, they can give one to just about anything.

Hell Ganondorf has TONS of potential to have a fully unique moveset

Oops, he's a clone of Captain Falcon for basically no reason whatsoever (yes I know he's probably a replacement Black Shadow or whatever, still doesn't give him the excuse in the next Smash Bros. game. If people wanted this Ganondorf moveset, just add Black Shadow and make Ganondorf unique)

If Ganondorf doesn't use his Hyrule Warriors potential, I'm jumping of Mushroom Ridge.

Can I bet 10 bucks on that?

As Yoshi876 reminded me, I can make a moveset for Goomy.

Just watch.*

*as a bonus, I'll throw in a bucket of water.

Do a brick instead.

Yes, a Bucket of Water with a Brick in it.

Perfect character.

....

Do people really, really expect me to do this..?

Up Special = Brick Grapple
Side Special = Brick Boomerang
Down Special = Spill
Neutral Special = Brick Throw

The argument isn't over if characters have moveset potential. It's over 1. how much moveset potential they have and 2. if they can have a moveset that makes sense. Fox and Captain Falcon may not have used their moves in their games before joining the roster, but their movesets still made sense (Fox more than the Captain, but that's not the point).

You can give a bunch of bricks a moveset that makes sense.

I'm the one who brought up about this whole bricks thing.

It's satire on how really ineffective the "moveset potential" argument is.

Was it you or me?

The moveset potential is a load of garbage, even a one-off character can have a cool moveset.
Oops, well I did suggest a bucket of water. Which caused you to mention bricks.

So yeah.

If you really need an example of why moveset potential isn't a good argument, look at my thread where I give a moveset to a chair and a book.

How about just a brick as a weapon. Cuz they're awesome.
Bricks deserve more than being a mere tool.
