I didn't get to say it before, so I'll say it now: being able to play songs from the game in sleep mode is a genius idea. You can collect Play Coins while listening to those tunes!

Someone's stated that it's possible player three dropped out (Either through local or online play) accidentally and it still registered Player 4 who didn't drop out as Player 4. Player 3 just came back in. I'm not saying that the leak is 100% real (Not really that big of a deal, Metal Sonic as an alt for Sonic sounds cool but I wouldn't be that upset if it wasn't real)

I feel a lot of support coming from the Mario RPGs.

And 3D Player, your opinions, but my opinion is that Paper Mario is the most deserving out of all the other reps that were stated. Daisy doesn't deserve it. Bowser Jr. deserves it more than Daisy, Waluigi is equal with Daisy, but at least Paper Mario actually makes more sense.

And I feel that if there is a 6th Mario rep, it'll be Paper Mario. Face it; Daisy and Bowser Jr. and all of them are probably not going to be in this game, or maybe even in the next Smash installment.

IDK though, Paper Mario might not even be considered a Mario rep, he might be a Paper Mario series rep.

Bowser Jr., while I think he'd be good and all, isn't going to be in. If he is, well, new character to main.

Also I personally don't think he has any chance at all of being a sixth Mario character. If he gets in I'm certain he'll represent the PM games.

Yeah, I agree. I already mentioned it in SM's merit thread, but I'll just post the relevant stuff here:

I'd say that Dark Pit is still slightly above Dr. Mario for the reason you mentioned, being that Dark Pit is at least his own character while Dr. Mario is literally, well, Mario in a lab coat. That's why I don't want Paper Mario in Smash Bros. He's literally Mario...as paper...Might as well ask for Yarn Kirby while we're at it. That said, I'm not opposed to a Paper Mario newcomer as long as its not one of the main four heroes that we have characters of. The problem is, I wouldn't know who they would use. Using a one-off character like Grodus or Lord Crump or someone else would be ridiculous, but PM doesn't really have any recurring characters besides the sages (Merlon, Merluvlee, etc). I'd take Merlon over Paper Mario, honestly.

As much as I don't want to admit it, if they want to use a rep from the Paper Mario/Mario and Luigi/RPG series, I'd go with Fawful. He at least has the potential for a unique moveset, he ''was'' a recurring character in the series, and he's a fan favorite by some.

Paper Mario has just as much (if not more) moveset potential as Fawful. I can understand why you would want an original Mario RPG character to be playable, but you need to at least understand that Paper Mario has tons of moveset potential and has a low chance of being a Mario clone.

from the looks of it there's nothing really new in them aside from the confirmation of Mario, Luigi, Peach and Daisy hats (that are exactly like the ones from StreetPass Quest)

Oh, that's pretty neat. Looks more like Shadow Kirby because of the black body. That palette looks familiar though.
