I just can't shake the feeling they're trying to forget SPM. I mean it was full of references to the first two but its sequel didn't reference it at all. Sticker Star did reference the first two with papers in the trash pit but the only SPM reference was a very subtle nod to the 256 thing. Brawl was really the only game that ever gave SPM sufficient representation.

I don't want to think about it but evidence shows Nintendo is trying to forget it existed. They unfortunately see it as the black sheep and Sticker Star as the apology for their "mistake"

If anything, SS was the less Paper Mario like (although the actual "Paper" elements were far more clear in it then SPM). They might just be promoting Sticker Star as it's the only one you can really buy in stores. Same goes to the Starlow trophy.

Actually, did anyone ever find a translated description of the Starlow one?

You'll never get past the army of TTYD Fanpeople tho.

I feel sorry for Ice Climber mains. DLC could still be possible, but it would not work, mainly because of the fact that nobody wants to pay for a character twice. (Wii U and 3DS)

Connectivity wouldn't work (if you had a friend with the 3DS version come over, you could basically get free stuff.)

I doubt they would make DLC for Smash free. There's too much money too be gained from it.

If people payed for Ridley, Nintendo would make some big profits
