Honestly, Leaf Shield is really the only "bad" move in his arsenal. I'm sure it has its situational uses (just like it does in MM2 no less) but I haven't found them yet. Flame Sword is good for use in combos and is also pretty effective when combined with a short hop. Slash Claw has pretty good knockback and is a pretty good option for a kill move. Air Shooter is good for scoring Star KOs. It doesn't do much damage but it pushes opponents up, more so than MG&W's up-air. Hard Knuckle has a delay on it and is good for scoring meteor KOs. Down throw is a good setup move.Donatello said:Anybody who's played the demo know how good (or bad) Mega Man is?
I seem to recall 3K saying Leaf Shield wasn't good, but anything else?

Let's hope Dr. Mario (aside from the Dr. Tornado) and Dark Pit are different. They really wasted Lucina's potential, however.GalacticPetey said:Lucina and Marth have the same custom moves.
Ah fuck.
Dr. Mario's neutral special variations are exactly the same as Mario's (Giant Pill and all ), same with his up specials. Going by this, I'm fairly certain that he'll use Luigi's green tornado variations, and'll probably get Mario's cape variations too, unfortunatelyLumastar said:Let's hope Dr. Mario (aside from the Dr. Tornado) and Dark Pit are different. Somehow the idea of switching Ness and Lucas' moves around when they're actually very different seems somewhat weird. I don't feel like it would work, but hey, I don't know much about Earthbound.Kellam said:GalacticPetey said:Lucina and Marth have the same custom moves.
Ah *bleep*.
This is actually good, because it gives me hope for Lucas since Ness has most of his specials as customs, so Lucas can have some of Ness's as customs. Besides, Lucas is know for his Smash attacks (that amazing USmash and DSmash) anyways. That was my biggest worry because they would need to have designed special for him.
Pic of the day. Now that the game is out in Japan, the Conquest mode will be available in online multiplayer in the Japanese version. This is what the title screen will look like for the overseas version. In this mode, the game aggregates global wins among specific teams during a limited time and determines the victor. If you choose a participating fighter from the With Anyone option, you'll automatically participate in Conquest. We'll be running Conquest in beta for a while.
Also, Conquest data where players seem to be losing on purpose will be removed from the calculations. And lastly, there's no point in working on this mode too much on your own, so don't overdo it
