I want Amiibos because I've always wanted figures of certain characters and potentially having the Bowser Jr. one unlock Bowser Jr. in mario kart 8.

i'd assume so, which means that the smash functionality is limited to just watching a cpu level up for you

Yes, but what's the point of having the alternate unlocking method if you can still unlock everyone without even wanting to by playing the game's main mode? Besides, it's not like the other method is too diverse either, as it's basically beating Classic mode with different characters and in varying difficulties. That's all.

Because you think doing 1000 battles in Melee to unlock everyone was any better?

Of COURSE :S At least that took some time and effort. 120 is just a joke.

I LOVED having to play 20 hours of VS. Mode to unlock Mewtwo...

Me too. I felt so rewarded when he finally appeared. It was like all the effort was worth it. I never did the overnight thing; I did play the 20 hours.

And I wasn't being completely serious about Rosalina getting cut in the next game. It was tongue-in-cheek, but given my record of bad luck when it comes to choosing my mains, I wouldn't be surprised. I am aware that she's the next big thing in the Mario universe, but still. No one could have predicted Mewtwo, one of the most iconic Pokémon ever, would be left out in favor of a 15-minutes-of-fame sensation. No one could have predicted the Ice Climbers, one of the most popular characters in the Smash universe, would be cut. All for different reasons, but with the same result. Rosalina could very well suffering the same fate.

I also forgot to mention how disappointed I am that Charizard sucks one again and that Palutena is so freaking bad.

It's not for us who want an actual challenge and don't want to be baby-fed everything right from the start. Having everything available from the start sucks and makes the game get old ridiculously fast.

By the way, I couldn't tell very well, but Rosalina doesn't have new voice acting, does she? Did they re-use the Kerri Kane voice clips?

I would be careful with what you say Anser, especially since a few weeks ago you were literally bitching about no Mewtwo and then getting mad about people that tried to reason with you.

They also accumulate damage, and a grave gets erected every time a Flying Man falls in battle. And of course, only up to five Flying Men can appear at a time.
