Yeah it looks like either Sakurai's putting it up for a later date this month. Or there will be no Pokemon character reveal at all and the next one will actually be Zelda in November.

Poor Pokemon fans either way though.

i have a feeling jiggs is next, if not her than mewtwo, doubting pokemon trainer or lucario will show up just yet but then again toon link exists so who knows

though i would personally love it if lucario showed up this early

I think if Mewtwo's revealed it will include a trailer. I believe Mewtwo's a technical newcomer at this point. Because what I've noticed is that all the veterans so far have all been transferred into SSB4 from Brawl. Which is why for the exception of Pit and Bowser, that none of them seem too different in besides model changes. You can't do that with Mewtwo. And Mewtwo has to be worked on from the ground up, so while Mewtwo isn't a newcomer in the traditional sense. The team still has to create him again like he was a new character much like they have for Megaman, Wii Fit Trainer, and Villager. It's part of the reason why I think Mewtwo will be saved for later. Perhaps next E3.

I think either Jigglypuff or Pokemon Trainer will be the next Pokemon character revealed if there is any this month.

I don't know... X and Y I think has made the Gen 1 starters more relevant again because you both get a Gen 6 starter and a Gen 1 starter in Pokemon X and Y. They could even replace Triple Finish with something for each Pokemon. Like Charizard getting his Mega form for example.

yeah... i'm fairly certain this is either a new stage based around the kalos region with Xerneas and Yvelton like spear pillar from brawl, or hell, it might be PokeFloats 2

I'm assuming Xerneas is our first confirmed Pokeball Pokemon until proven otherwise. I put it on the Confirmed Items/Assist Trophies/Pokeball Pokemon list in the OP

Especially since you guys are all like "Ridley is not too big."

But yeah, I doubt it is a playable character (that would be awesome though). Most likely a Poke Ball or stage hazard (not an Assist Trophy since they don't do Pokemon for assist trophies).

Though if Xerneas IS playable (big if), Nintendo will gladly please me, especially since it would be a surprise.
