Of course, at least it'll mean the game will be coming out sooner rather than later.

Really? I thought Star KO bonus was just that: turning opponents into a star.

Well you have to first send the opponent flying upwards in order to get the Star KO bonus. But sometimes when the opponent gets Star KO'd, he/she will hit the front of the screen, which would give him/her the Foresight bonus.

I'm pretty sure that's Fox's falling animation after using his Up B.

Don't count on it. If we get any fourth Kirby character, it's going to be Bandana Dee, and I don't even think he's that likely.

Though that being said I'd probably like Magolor's inclusion more than I would like Bandana Dee's.

I unfortunately don't see the Kirby series getting a new character. And even if it does, Magolor has competition with higher chances: Bandanna Dee. But Magolor would make for a nice boss character. And most assuredly at least a trophy. I think Kirby, Meta Knight, and Dedede are enough though.

Waddle Dee's a good idea. And maybe Magolor & Master Crown would be an assist trophy.

Anyway... Kirby 3DS does come out in Japan this Saturday. Think we see Dedede or Meta Knight tomorrow or Friday?

My bets personally are on Dedede first. Somehow this time around I could see Meta Knight being revealed later or even made an unlockable character. (Not that might matter that much anymore. With Sonic, Toon Link, and I imagine Rosalina revealed already, I don't think Sakurai cares as much about hiding secrets other then some newcomers (I assume we'll be in for some nice surprises when the next E3 comes around for example)

A Mario Newcomer - Probably a stretch but with Mario Kart 8 coming out in the spring (And again the Direct focusing on this) it's a possibility. Maybe even a light of hope for Toad fans that still cling on to hope that Toad's playable despite seemingly convincing evidence that says otherwise.

Well, maybe even Rosalina. Hey, I'm doubtful that she'll be in it, but you gotta admit that her inclusion in SM3DW really did hype her up a lot and made her look more appealing to be in the new SSB.

Just because I didn't predict it didn't mean that I wasn't right about what I said.

IIRC, I was the only one that brought up Rosalina for the Nintendo Direct as a possibility.

The point is that your post from before the Direct is not an affirmative answer to DF's question. Potential reasons for Rosalina being in the game have nothing to do with this, since you doubted she'd be in the game.

Thing is Rosalina still had some popularity prior to 3D World, and it shot up after that announcement. Magolor, like most Kirby characters, is almost never brought up; Bandana Dee is the only Kirby character with a decent popularity. The fact that Bandana Dee was a playable character in Magolor's game doesn't help either.

Well, I agree with one thing: Kirby probably won't have more than 3 representatives.

We already had two newcomers for the series last time, and I think that it's going to be the same.

Not to say that another Kirby rep wouldn't be nice.

While I did have her support, I did get smacked down a lot for doing so. That left me with mixed thoughts until the 12/18 Nintendo Direct washed away all my doubts.
