Y'know, it might actually be a Return to Dream Land stage as well, just saying in case everyone is getting their hopes up for a Galaxy stage, even though there likely will be one. I don't know, but the background reminds me a lot of the boxart for KRTDL. Eh, I'm probably wrong, but whatever.

I actually agree, my first impression upon seeing the image was that looks quite Kirby-like (and not just because Kirby was in it) another reason I think this is because Kirby is the only character in the screenshot, surely it'd be logical to have a Mario character in the screenshot if it was from Mario Galaxy.

I'd be fine either way. I'd like both games to get a stage anyway.

It's a shame the Galaxy stage is going to be something boring and generic like the Good Egg Galaxy. Then again, I guess the Good Egg Galaxy is one of the more iconic galaxies in the games.

I disagree with Gamefreak, I think Good Egg would make an interesting stage.

Didn't Sakurai say on Miiverse (I don't have a Wii U though so don't quote me on this lol) that Kirby is drawn in a particular art style? Along with the space background, people believe that the style of lighting on Kirby is based off of Super Mario Galaxy. =P

However, I would prefer a Kirby stage since there were plenty of Mario stages (including the ones from sub-series like DK, Warioware, Yoshi's Island, etc.) in Brawl, and Kirby stages are more creative anyways.

And also can we please have an Earthbound stage that's actually fun to play on? New Pork City is god awful and drags on the match, and Onett... it feels so cramped and the walls and the cars make it annoying. :/

Peachy Peach confirmed for SSB4. No surprise, but glad to see one of my mains! <3

Obvious, but nonetheless still great. I'm liking the updated visuals on her attacks, and Toad is pretty much deconfirmed (rather happy about that actually).

No doubt she would be coming back. Also, does her face look a little off to anyone else?

Yeah her pose is strange too, though it's better than some of her NSMB artwork.

I really like her new artwork.

But to be honest, I'm sick of seeing ANOTHER Mario character revealed when we haven't seen anything for series like Fire Emblem.

well peach is in and that is great, i wub her.

Although i can agree with nsm on this one, would love to see more fe reps.

Larger, more detailed artwork.

But what would be a good moveset for Toad, asides from physical attacks and screaming at other players?

Obvious. However I also would have preferred seeing someone from a series we haven't seen anything of, like Marth or Ice Climbers, or even Yoshi or Wario. She looks good though.

Also yeah Toad's probably out. I'm pretty happy about that actually, I would have preferred him to stay in Peach's moveset anyway.

Again Sakurai proves unpredictable with Character reveals. Not that Peach being in the game is a surprise, she was a No-brainer. It's just most expected her to be announced to tie-in with Super Mario 3D World given Luigi and Olimar's reveals. Meaning even if there's a month where there's no major game relevant to a SSB veteran or possible newcomer coming out. Doesn't mean we won't get another character reveal.

Also if there are no new Mario characters. I'd find it odd, since they did just show all 4 of the Mario characters (Two of them a month after the previous one) that made it in Brawl early. I'm thinking this may be further proof that we'll see a secret Mario newcomer somewhere. But I'm of course not 100% certain about that.

Still, I imagine we will see a Pokemon character and/or Sonic in the next month

Yoshi: What about me? While it's nice to see Peach again, I want to at least know if I'm coming back too.

Do the they have to detail Peach's dress now.

Anyway, next month should be the big month for Pokemon fans (Besides of course X&Y itself releasing). There's been plenty of debate on how the Pokemon representation is going to go.

You have Jigglypuff, who most consider a no-brainer simply because she was in the original 12. Though some people do point out that Brawl kinda broke Jigglypuff's tradition when she wasn't the first unlockable. Not to mention she seemed to be a bit of out-of-focus. Considering she's the only one out of the original 12 that didn't have some kind of role in the Subspace Emissiary.

You have Pokemon Trainer. While it's likely we'll probably see him again in some way, there's questions on whether he'll have the same pokemon or have different ones this time around.

You have Lucario. Who was one of the few Brawl characters many considered have the highest amounts of being cut (other then Toon Link) but the presence of a Mega form in X & Y has put a hole in the theory that Pokemon's done with Lucario just yet.

Then while he wasn't in Brawl, you have Mewtwo. Who if it wasn't for time constraints would of been in Brawl. But now due to a new X & Y form. Considered probably the one character that was cut between Melee-Brawl to have high chances of coming back.

No matter what character is shown. It will put a little more fire in the ongoing storm that the Pokemon rep in SSB4 debate has been for a while now. Even more so if the new character revealed is a newcomer that isn't one of the veterans I mentioned in this post.

If we see a Pokemon rep next month my money's on Mewtwo, but given that we got Peach this month instead of around 3D World's release, I'm not sure that we'll see any Pokemon rep.

This isn't the first time...

Yay Peach! I like how they made her less realistic and more like her actual self (same goes for Bowser). Her design looks like a mixture between her brawl and melee version, which I really like! And I'm pleased to see that both her Toad counter and crown attack are back.
