Eggheads has got to be my favorite episode so far.

This is incredible. You're incredible.

Ok, just saw Eggheads.

Just....holy shit. My mind was blown. Best episode so far, but apparently it's the season finale? Or at the very least Sonic Boom won't be airing for a while?

It's taking a break because of Winter Break stuff (Probably in favor of airing marathons of Christmas-esque things though reruns of at least some of the 8 episodes that have aired so far will fill the same timeslot and even start playing on Weekdays) but it should be back sometime early next year (Maybe next month or February?))

Why exactly did Sonic turn Eggman back to normal? Wouldn't their lives be easier without Eggman being Eggman? I'm also a little bit disapointed that Sonic didn't mix up the cookies at the end mixing up everyone's personalities, but still funny.

Eddy from Ed,Edd,and Eddy: And what? Ruin the plot?!

I think Sonic and his friends don't think “brainwashing ” someone, even Eggman is making them better than him.

You have to remember that in the Sonic Boom tv series, Sonic and Eggman clearly are not the arch-enemies thay have been in the game. In the 2nd half-episode of the series, Sonic just let Eggman bunk in with him in his house with only little reluctance. Eggman still describes himself as evil, but he seems more like that annoying uncle that occasionally comes down to bother Sonic and his friends. And many times already in the series Sonic and his friends have actually worked with Eggman more often then at any other universe of Sonic.

This series barely takes itself seriously and only looks for comedy. Anyone who only likes the more serious stuff that the games provide between Sonic and Eggman and especially some of the more drastic stuff in the Adventure games aren't going to find anything much in this series. This is a purly lighthearted series that kinda harkens back to Sonic's first cartoon (Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog) where while Eggman still hated Sonic then and they were enemies. Everything was just so cartoony as Robotnik was completely ridiculous and even had two bumbling robots (Of which Sonic Boom has as well with Orbot and Cubot).

If you're looking for something where Sonic and Eggman are searching for permanent solutions to defeat one another. Sonic Boom is not the Sonic series for you.

SatAM Robotnik is overrated. He may seem more threatening than AoStH Robotnik because of his generic Dr. Claw voice, but did he ever do anything as awesome as https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=ABIDs6qBtcY#t=340?

Anyone unable to watch that video for whatever reason: Sonic heads for the Eggmobile (no gimmicky weapons attached, just the machine and the man inside it) with a spin attack, and Robotnik pulls out a wrench and smacks him, sending him down to the ground.

I never said anything related to that. I was just wondering why Sonic did what he did.

Because keeping someone brainwashed wouldn't be morally right.
Exactly what I said.

I say the show producers did a good job on the background/minor characters. They do seem to fit in the Sonic world.

From the Sonic fan point of view this is kind of a too soon sort of thing. Sonic Boom doesn't feel all that fleshed out (Probably doesn't help that neither the game nor the show really do anything to show us what the Boom universe is like). Meanwhile Mega Man X has had many, many, years and many, many, MANY games to establish it as it's own part of the Megaman franchise. So I wouldn't be surprised if this is more Megaman then Sonic this time around simply because the Sonic Boom franchise is too new for it to play off the longevity of the Megaman X series.

Not sure how will the comic turn out but okay.

Well, what does anyone think about Orbot and Cubot so far?

Eh, don't really care about them. They can be amusing but I don't think they're anything special. They're the atypical clumsy minions

What about Scratch and Grounder? Did you think they are funny minions or pathetic nincombots?

I don't think there will ever be an incarnation of him lazier than the one in The Subspace Emissary.

"Sonic! It's literally 'the last minute' now! Are you gonna help them out or what?"

"Eh. Ask again in 59 seconds."
