Movies that I think are overrated

The reason why I don't want to see those films is because as you can see, most of the movies in this list are action films, I'm more into Oscar films (except Avatar, I'm surprised it was in the Best Picture category), but Spielberg is an overrated director and most of his movies put me to sleep, as for Raging Bull: I'm a big fan of Scorsese, anything he makes, I'll watch, but after watching this, it's just too violent and I can't believe he punched his wife, I don't get why Scorsese called this his personal favorite movie that he made. Marvel films like The Avengers look a little too goofy, I only watch superhero films that are more dramatic and sad like The Dark Knight

This is one of those situations where we prove SMF wrong again, and he denies it in a way that makes him oblivious to the whole situation.

Just thought I'd say that he's allowed to think one movie is better than the other, provided he's actually seen these movies. The fact is that he has opinions on movies he hasn't even seen yet, which is just stupid. He's judging a book by it's cover, and that's not a good way to go around it.
