or complete a hard level?
this all happens to us.

but I'd like the first poster to say his so mine doesn't look pathetic.

and yes this applies tio handhelds as well.

i was playing Lord of the Rings the Fellowship of the Ring video game one time on PS2 and i made it all the ways to weathertop, however i completely forgot to save after making it that far and got killed by a troll

bad times....

mine is even worse.

I forgot to save after getting the pokerus. :'(

The first time I beat Lost Jungle with Team Sonic on Sonic Heroes the PS2 cut out before it could save(this was on my old PS2) so I had to do it again.

I was playing a game one time when I was playing Majora's Mask after finally getting done with the Kafei quest, and forgot to save.

Ugh, that game...

And yeah, plenty of times I would play a game for like 8 hours, and forget to save it. So stupid of me. :P

one time in kotor, cant remember when but it took me back an hour or two.

Now im pretty paranoid about saving.

Gotta love those Resetti rants.

No. I constantly save every chance I get. Unless you count a Game Over when venturing through a dungeon in P4, then yes.

I only get f'ed over when the game decides to freeze on me and the last save file is corrupted.

Whenever I'm playing a game that takes a long time to load. I neglect saving just because of how time-consuming it is and then I either get a game over or the power goes out (for some reason) and I have to re-do about 1-3 hours of gameplay.

It's worse if I did a ton of grinding in an rpg and then it stops, because I hate grinding most of the time and I don't like redoing it.

I remember catching Rayquaza with a normal PokeBall in either Ruby or Sapphire (forget), but I forgot to save so the proof is all goooooone

also happened all the time in Deus Ex since I wasn't used to constant quick save at the time

yes. the last time that happened was in ff6. the last time i saved was right before the tunnelarmr, and then i played a lot further, till the part where you fight both ifrit and shiva, and i died. guess what happened.

I went through an incredibly hard dungeon in oblivion and then died at the exit and then realized i hadn't saved since i walked in.

Also, last night i played a game of spore all the way to space stage and i forgot to save it when i quit.

Pretty much this, even though Resseti scared the crap out of me.

Otherwise, I kept forgetting to save in Pokemon White 2 before fighting a major battle and I would lose and have to redo a whole hour of gaming.

one time in platinum i went on a huge no-save streak, beating a gym leader and almost beating another one but then the game randomly crashed in the middle of the battle

Tales Of Symphonia

I shut the game off at a save point just after fighting Remiel. Oopsy, I didn't USE the save point, and I hadn't saved in three hours. But to slightly lessen it, I didn't realize it until I returned to the game later. So there wasn't a big AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH NO, just a Where'd my progress...?

I'm not sure whether this counts, but a beat a boss or level, can't remember which, that I was really struggling on, and then my cat came along looking for a stroke and knocked my 3DS out of my hand and froze the game before it could save. Needless to say she didn't get a stroke, but I nearly had one.

I think that I was playing VVVVVV in a hard part with lots of spikes and I forget to save because I needed to go somewhere.

Well I made a massive minecart track for my brother in Minecraft 360 (he's freaking addicted to it) and when I go to save I can't because I was on the second controller, so I tell him to save and he lets out a hissy fit because he said he didn't want that world to be for anything except finding monster spawners and destroying them.

...

He gets lectured by my parents and he sits in front of the tv and thinks about it, because I DID work hard on that.

So he comes out to the kitchen and he finally says he agrees to having the minecart track on that world considering there was nothing else in it that wasn't automatically generated. But here's the catch: HE ALEADY TURNED OFF THE XBOX which points out a major flaw in MC360, there's no autosave. My brother made up his mind after making a decision basically.

So to put it simply I didn't forget to save rather my brother deliberately reverted everything I did for him (I was trying to get a major assignment done on that day, and it wasn't like he was sorry either).
