Jon Huntsman is the greatest candidate out there :posh:

Shame he'll never ever win. He's too normal for the Republican party.
He's really a democrat who claims to be a republican

I think that next will be Santorum, then Huntsman, then Paul, and finally Gingrich. Even though I don't want Romney to win (I want Obama) I think Romney is going win because he has changed about all of his view for the people and he won't follow through on most of it. :P

I haven't been paying attention to the election. I'll watch it on TV, but I live in Canada.

The only legitimate candidate is Ron Paul, but they don't use the votes so he can't win. If they did use the votes, he most certainly would win.

Ah, so you're a Republican.

Ok, if someone who's ok with al-Qaeda and hates Israel is a legitimate candidate, that's a good point you make, Marwikedor.

He also has made some really stupid comments in the past on subjects such as AIDS victims.

But he's not okay with al-Qaeda and he doesn't hate Israel. So he is a legitimate candidate.

And no, he really hasn't made stupid comments on AIDS victims. Again, his comments were made on those that have AIDS that expect a government handout in order to get treatments: he instead opts for individualistic approaches such as tax credits for medical expenses, cutting our spending to the point of where the tax burden goes down on everybody, and ending the excess printing of our money to help counter inflation (which would mean we could afford more with less money).

Yeah, whatever. He still came off as a jackass and he could have phrased it better.

Damn it, Rudnicki. I thought you were banned.

Wow john mccain looks different this year oh wait thats mitt romney i got confused because they both sold out there beliefs

I don't feel like reading 14 pages of nonsense (and who could blame me) but what are your guys' actual thoughts on Ron Paul?

DISCLAIMER OF DISCLAIMERS: THIS POST IN NO WAY SUPPORTS, OPPOSES, OR ABSTAINS RON PAUL. IT IS SIMPLY A QUESTION.

Elaborate please. Obama opposers need to know after all this non-constructive criticism they get.

So basically, Ron Paul wants to cut off all aid to Israel and he was against the killings of bin Laden and Anwar al-Awlaki. Technically, al-Awlaki was a US citizen, but he was also an ex-pat and a terrorist. I'd call those legitimate reasons to kill him.

So you don't believe in upholding the Constitution which says that all american citizens have the right to a quick and speedy trial

I'll try to state my opinion on the matter while carefully avoiding giving my opinion on Ron Paul himself (for now)

Assuming what you said is true, those are only his thoughts on two past executions. It's really just his opinion on something that already happened. He can't change it.

All I can really pull out of your post is that you're saying he wants to cut off support to Isreal and you disagree with that. (If I'm wrong, correct me.) According to this Ron Paul wants to cut off sending money to Israel, but he wants to remain allies, work out peace treaties, and establish trade.

Again, I'm not saying I agree or disagree with Ron Paul, but I think a lot of the things people say about him are... well, without source. I'm not a very "political" person so if there's any sources that contradict what I'm saying, please link me up.

Yes they murdered al-Awlaki it doesn't matter what he did he was an American citizen and he had rights. I think the Republican candidates instead of tearing one another apart should instead focus on informing the American people about why the dictator who currently occupies the White House needs to be removed. The NDAA law passed while everyone was wasted around newyear that gives tyranical marxist dictator Obama power to detain American citizens INDEFINITELY W/O A TRIAL! It's called the NDAA law and Ron Paul was the ONLY ONE who spoke out against it! The law DOES apply to every American citizen, basically whoever HE defines to be a "terrorist" or a "subversive" or "seditious", could be imprisoned an unlimited amount of time! It all depends on how he defines it. For example, if you're neighbor owns a lot of guns and he suddenly vanishes, you can be certain he has wound up in a concentration camp. Fuck Obama!!!!!

Romney won New Hampshire.
God I hate Romney. Liberal Republican. Just like that idiot who got the GOP nom last time around what was the old moron's name? Was it John McMoron? No, McShame, was it? McLame? I can't remember. I wonder what that stupid Romney is eating at his celebration? White toast and mayonaise? Why can't there EVER be a candidate running to get excited about?!! If not Ron Paul, Santorum would be the second best, even though he is a big-government, war-mongering, false conservative who worships Israel. But that's how much I hate all the other candidates. Newt Gingrich looks like Chucky the killer doll's fat grandfather. He is like a white-walled tire retread. When I saw him sit on that couch with Nancy Lugosi in 2008 to support the Global Warming fraud, I knew I'd hate his fat ass for life!

Personally, I like what you might call a liberal republican. I agree with most of the Republican economic views, but I have liberal views on issues like gay marriage. Besides, the Republicans would rather nominate a more liberal candidate like Romney that has a chance to steal votes from Obama than someone to the far right that will cause any moderates to stick with Obama, despite his drawbacks.

You got a problem with Israel, buddy?

Actually, I'm pretty sure he will. From what I've seen, there are a lot of people who would rather vote for Obama than Romney or Gingrich, even if they don't much like Obama.

You do realize, of course, that Bush was doing this with Guantanamo Bay long before this bill was passed?

Look, people like you aren't even worth debating with, I don't know why I still bother. You can't just disagree with your opponent's views- no! He's a tyrannical Marxist dictator! It can't possibly be that Obama is just not in-your-face about his Christianity- no! He's secretly a Muslim! You're just really, really dumb, when it comes down to it, and you'll go to your grave that way. Sad.

Trying to make a list of pluses and minuses about Ron Paul guys, but I need help. Also I am still not saying I like or dislike Ron Paul.

+ supports gay marriage (or opposes state involvement in legality of marriage, whatever)
+ wants to make marijuana legal
+ opposes SOPA
+ opposes NDAA
- something about Israel
- something about disagreeing with pasts executions of war criminals

(some of the things might need to switch if they wrongly have +/-)
