United States Presidential Election, 2012

huh

the Liberal Party in Australia are conservative

silly backwards every other country

Every other country isn't backwards, Australia's just upside-down.

I'm pretty shure the liberal party in canada is also conservative.

No way dude, Australia is the right way up. Everyone else is upside down. I thought everyone knew this.

That doesn't make any sense. The United States can't be the one that's upside-down because we have a high rate of obesity, and obese people would definetly fall off if they were upside-down.

i'm pretty sure he's rudnicki

just ignore him
Marwikedor was banned on February 11 after getting thrown off the Shroom

PDI joins February 26 trying to get a position on the Shroom

In addition, he heads to the thread Marwikedor was notorious in, only this time his persona is "a liberal for Santorum" which doesn't make much sense.

Too many coincidences.

We have the third highest rate of obesity in the world. Your logic is inconsistent!

You're right, my logic is inconsistent- it's rightside-up when I'm talking about America and upside-down when I'm talking about Australia!

The Republicans in Europe are more like the Democratic Party in the USA. The conservatives in Europe would be too far left in this country. Point is, the labels, "liberal" and "conservative" vary in degree in countries.

You know this because you live in Europe...?

Yes. She's actually a lizard and is corrupting you to turn you into one too when you come of age.
She turned me into a Newt Gingrich!

A Newt Gingrich?

...I got better.

I thought you were Mitt Romney.

Oh yeah, I must have gotten worse.

Cause Romney is worse than Gingrich, you know.

AND THEN SHE TURNED ME INTO A MITTEN

My thoughts when I saw the video the first time: As thrilled as I would be if he had said that (since he'd end up thrown out of the presidential race) I don't think he did.

My thoughts the second time: ...he did almost say it. "The anti-government nig-"

Of course, he could have been saying "anti government negotiations" but that wouldn't make a ton of sense...

I dunno. If he did nearly say a racial slur I'm really surprised, to be honest- I didn't like Santorum, but that was because of his misogyny and religious fanaticism. The only time racism ever occurred to me was when he said America was more Christian 100 years ago (i.e. when blacks were segregated from whites and women had no rights), but I sort of assumed he was just being an idiot and didn't really think that America was better back then.

But I can't really tell whether he was going to say the n-word. It'd be easy to say that he did, but it doesn't really fit with his character from what I've seen- he's a disgusting prick to women and gays, not black people.

I'm just wondering... I don't want to sound stupid, but... why is Obama called an "anti-Christian Muslim"?

Really, the only reason is because his middle name is Hussein, same as Saddam Hussein.

At least, that's what I would guess...

There's also this. Not many other things he could have been saying if it's not what's implied:

Also, what did you all think of Obama's slip talking to the Russian president?

"This is my last election year. After this year I'm more flexible."

Personally, I think this is why the 22nd Amendment shouldn't have been created. Also because the American people should be allowed to re-elect a president if they're honestly that good, like FDR was.

Then we'd get something like a monarchy or dictatorship, votes or no votes.

Anyway, I consider it to be a private conversation between two diplomats that just happened to get picked up by microphones (besides, no incumbent's going to say "I'm going to lose this election").
