Koopas were subject to severe racism back when the Mario Bros were babies. Morthophelus Koopa I, then king of the Koopas' homeland, was a nice leader and treated the Koopas well. However, he went insane and declared war on the Toads when they segregated themselves from the Koopas and King Louis Toadstool II stated that he didnt want "those damn turtles [slur against Koopas] anywhere near [their] kingdom". The Koopa Uprising caused several lives to be lost. The king could not go on, knowing that he indirectly killed thousands of his men. He then decided to end his life by standing on a bridge and cutting it down with an ax. The late King Koopa's son, Prince Bowser Koopa, was told that his father was assassinated by a Toad. When he grew up, he set in motion the plot of Super Mario Bros, as stated in the manual.

I love how "turtle" is a racist slur against the Koopas rather than a regular slangy synonym. It totally works, since most things are from the Mushroomian POV (or hostile third parties), and any instances of the Koopas themselves using it could just be them "taking back" the word.

On that note, "kong-reject orang utans" is totally an in-universe slur

The King of Sarasaland (aka Daisy's Dad, whom I'll call Poppy) had taken many percautions to protect his homeland since Sarasaland was invaded by Tatanga.

Sarasaland has an air force that is currently second to none, not even Bowser could match it. However their infantry is rather small due to Sarasaland's low population. Poppy had also formed a secret service composed of Pionpis. (As Daisy's kingdom is in Chai, not Birabuto!) Daisy also hates deserts (or atleast the assumption Sarasaland is only desert.) Their military would also have a British/Commonwealth theme going on since Egypt, Hong Kong and Bermuda was part of the British Empire.

Daisy's mother may or may not be dead.

Mushroom King is Peach's Canon Dad but he never makes
an appearence in the series due to family obligations

The Mario Bros. lived in the Mushroom King their whole
life

The Koopalings are still Bowser's Biological Children
(SMB3 Manual Miyamoto!!) (Also i believe that the age
order is different)

Mushroom King's Inside Story?

The two Super Mario Land games, like SMB2, are all a dream.

I call bs because that inferes with my headcanon of the wario land and wario ware games being communist interpretations of a capitalistic world, as is the mother series which plays in the same universe.

and since communism is very real i doubt that it all is a dream

mario being a communist should be canon

What if... Bowser indeed dies in various games, but there are more of him?
Maybe each game features a different Bowser clone. They were created using Double Cherries, and when one dies it is replaced by another. They all share the same memory, explaining why Bowser remembers Mario being his rival, etc.

When Bowser held the ceiling up in SPM, he only did it knowing that if he died, he would be replaced with an identical clone.

And when Peach said "it was a surprisingly soft landing", she landed on the limb body of dead Bowser. That's why the landing was soft.

Okay, okay, here's a crazy one.

What if in Dream Team, every time Luigi goes to sleep, he gets injected with some Dream Fuel so that:

1: He can make dreams for Mario do work through, and
2: He'd instantly fall asleep every time he finds a Pillo.

That's what I think too.

An amusing idea but no, there is only one Bowser.

There used to be differences.

When he was little, my brother looked exactly like my dad had looked when he was the same age. It's called "family resemblance".

Yeah, when I saw pics of my brother at a very young age (he's much older than me) he looked just like his son.

But I still think Bowser survives all the time because he has backup clones. They were created when he was a baby, but as he grew older, so did the clones.

That's the same with me and my mother, actually.

Even if that did happen, they'd all try to kill each other due to their egos.

Bowser survives because he's the strongest member of a race of beings that are already known for being durable

I think he keeps mini versions of himself (Bowser Jrs) in tanks, and when Bowser dies the Bowser Jr last released is injected with hormones. Then another clone is released to be the next Bowser Jr.
