I tried to....by taking four years of it in high school

That didn't help much. I suck at learning new characters. New languages are an obstacle for me. Whenever I try learning new characters, I always forget the ones I previously known. The grammar is easy, kinda, but I can't learn to recognize or write all of these unique characters.

When I was seven teachers ask you to write twenty times per word ... nevermind. Grammar is almost nothing.
You have to control your hand and the characters of the words is related with the meaning, so you can remember it by an unique way.

But why you both don't learn Chinese?

I'm trying to learn more French while my sister is attempting to learn Chinese.

I am learning now, just from a Math teacher.
