I think traps in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games are BS in general, thanks to the random luck factor and also propelling some IQ traits to be far more essential than others. What's ESPECIALLY game breaking are those aforementioned traps, making Trap Seer a ---ing necessity if you want to explore later dungeons. Add that on that not every Pokemon in the Explorers games can learn Trap Seer, which makes it a brutality for the Pokemon without it.

This is the combination basically required to progress through the later dungeons

I had only played a little bit of Gen 5 (W2), but it was neutral to me.

The new designs and abilities and 'mon were cool, but the rest was pretty bleh.

Though I would've tried to play the whole game, if it hadn't gone missing.

I've played only about Gen III and Gen IV to its fullest.

I tried liking Gen IV. I really did. I got hyped for it when it was announced. However, I just got bored of it because I was essentially just doing the same thing again. Dunno why it doesn't apply to Mario though....I guess how tedious it was got me.

This picture basically sums up what I hate about Gen 1. I also hated the item inventory limit so much... I prefer the FireRed/LeafGreen remakes MUCH MUCH more with the Gen 3 mechanics. =P

IMO, the wrap/bind/fire spin thing is the worst thing. Makes pretty easy Pokémon like Onix and Ekans obnoxious. Also, I would spam the heck out of the Hyper Beam function.
