I do think SSB lack female representives, however, the rise of Rosalina wasn't due to the lack of female recurring characters in Mario series. Regardless of subseries, there are at least Daisy, Birdo and Toadette, not to say represnetiveness is what SSB should be all about.

I do want a Super Mario Galaxy 3. In fact, I'm sure they're working on it right now and they're going to reveal it in this year's E3. It's the only logical explanation for all this sudden Rosalina exposition. This time, however, PLEASE, Nintendo, PLEASE make a game that is actually new and fresh and not just a rehash of the previous version.

But recent new Mario ideas weren't as good as Galaxy

3D world has its cool features but it has barely any story and it's timed courses with a flagpole rather than multiple missions in each stage and a hub world.
