Exactly this. The DS version had so much more areas and stars to collect, plus new characters that each had unique features. This is what people call Nostalgia Blindness, when somebody likes a game only because of its nostalgic value. So I'd say the 2 games are equal.

Exactly this. The DS version had so much more areas and stars to collect, plus new characters that each had unique features. This is what people call Nostalgia Blindness, when somebody likes a game only because of its nostalgic value. So I'd say the 2 games are equal.
Though having said that, putting the red coins on the map felt incredibly cheap considering the point is to, you know, find them. That's about all I remember from when I briefly played it.

Though having said that, putting the red coins on the map felt incredibly cheap considering the point is to, you know, find them. That's about all I remember from when I briefly played it.
well the whole red coin on map thing is actually pretty pointless in this game as most are easy to find, plus you have to talk to a npc to see them. Doesnt help the fact that the npc is usually placed when you are literally about to finish finding them all.
