Help me choose between two games

Which do I pick?

Right now I'm torn between buying Metroid Prime Trilogy and Super Mario 3D World. I only have enough giftcard money for one (saving the rest for Smash). Which do I pick?
 
Tough one, but strangely enough, I would go with Metroid.
 
Such a difficult decision. MPT will probably last longer, since you're getting three games instead of one.

3 games in one, updated motion controls(great ones at that), and more then likely will be more enjoyable.

Unless you have other people to play with that is, then sm3dw would probably be superior,

But i'd go with mpt.
 
Metroid Prime Trilogy.

Super Mario 3D World is fun and it's good.
Metroid Prime is fun and it's great.
 
Both are good choices, but the Trilogy has Metroid Prime 2: Echoes aka the best Metroid game (despite what others will say), so I say go for that.
 
I've only played 3D World, but I'd recommend going for whatever game you think you'd enjoy the most.
 
I don't really care for 3D Metroids, so I'd say 3D World, though keep in mind it isn't nearly as long as a trilogy of games.
 
If you have a Brother, that means you have someone to play Super Mario 3D World with.
Pick that game.
 
If you don't want to play with your brother, pick Metroid Prime Trilogy. If you do want to play with your brother, pick Metroid Prime Trilogy anyway.
 
i hear sm3dw's multiplayer is fun but frustrating on a lot of levels so it depends how much you want to make progress

i've only played a little bit of both games, but if you're equally interested in both, the trilogy will last you longer and will probably feel a lot more fulfilling than sm3dw
 
Hmm depends.. If you're more into shooters and free roaming adventures, I'd pick Metroid.
If you like platformers, 3D World's a no brainer.

Online. When I last saw it in stores, it was a limited time sort of deal, so you'd be lucky if you found it.
 
Just bought the trilogy. I'll post here again or make a separate thread when it actually shows up at my house.

I'm excited. This will be my first Metroid game.
 
yeah its really hard to find in stores, ive been to like 6 or 7 different game stores and only found it once.
