Whoever this guy is, don't get mad if he is this famous guy, but has he ever played a Mario game and does he know what Super Mario galaxy is?? It's probably best to know that if you do a movie on it. I don't really know how this could become a movie, half of it would be exploring galaxies.

I know that sometimes SMG1 can really scare the shit out of a lot of people. I mean the only part that scares the shit out of me is when Peach's castle gets lifted and oh boy I think this why it makes me think that there should be a SMG movie made by Ridley Scott. I mean I'd bet the Contra series does have a lot of Sci-Fi elements that may scare some people. I mean in the first Contra's last stage there were these Aliens and that one heart as a last boss and that was scary for some. I mean there is even Contra III:The Alien Wars in some parts where some people may get frightened.

personally I don't think mario can get much grittier or "scarier" than the german comic version of him where he Link and Kirby are possessed by van helsing's weapons and go on a demon slaying rampage in hell
even then it's more ridiculous than scary lol

People keep saying Mario doesn't have much of a story, but I personally believe it can work that way, but I don't see Ridley Scott even though I'm a fan (Although Alien is his most overrated)

I think a Super Mario Galaxy movie by Ridley Scott would be one total kickass movie to watch and oh boy it may be one of the badass movies ever right next to the AVGN movie. I mean c'mon there are the Pokemon movies and I mean the first one was so heartbreaking and compelling for me. I mean a Super Mario Galaxy movie could be one of the most heartbreaking things ever and it will be so sci-fi oriented that even Ridley Scott could enhance the things that made the Super Mario Galaxy duology so cool and badass and spice the presentation up a bit so that there are some more sci fi elements that aren't even found in the games and have a professional sci-fi vibe. Isn't that a good idea.
