I don't even know any of these guys

Have you watched Alien one of Scott's most #1 triple A Sci Fi movie yet? I mean it is so scary that I'd wish Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 received a movie treatment. You realize that JJ Abrams did made the 2009 Star Trek movie and Star Trek Into Darkness. Hell, have you watched any popular movie from some triple A movie directors. I mean a Mario Galaxy movie would have some heatbreaking moments just like Pokemon The First Movie did to some. Speaking of Pokemon The First Movie, have you watched any of the Pokemon Movies. I only watched the first one.
Don't forget Scott's other well known movies: Blade Runner, Thelma and Louise, Gladiator, Black Hawk Down, Matchstick Men, and American Gangster

Yeesh, sounds like this Ridley Scott guy is pretty big.

But a Super Mario Galaxy movie by him? Naaah. In fact, why would there BE another Mario movie?

You did that on purpose.
On topic, while he is an acclaimed director, I will once again state that he would not fit a Mario movie at all.

I think if there were to be another Mario anime movie I think SigurdHosenfeld should be the animator and Nintendo could hire him as long as if he can make the anime pictures suitable for all ages.

out of all the horrible ideas on this forum, this is my absolute favourite

How about the other directors I suggested in the previous page

You mean having SigurdHosenfeld work on an anime Mario movie with Nintendo.

Umm... This guy?

So because he's good at drawing Nintendo girls in bikinis, you think he'd be a good movie animator as well? For a potential Super Mario Galaxy Movie? Directed by Ridley Scott?

... I don't even know what to say.

So POP what do you think about a SMG movie being directed by Ridley Scott with full complete CGI made in Autodesk Maya?

No. Just no.

... What makes you think we'll ever get a SMG movie anyways? (I'll probably regret asking later)

I thought of this idea when I was playing Contra and I was reading an article about Ridley Scott and after watchinng some SMG gameplay suddenly the idea just came into my head and I thought I would spread this idea of it. I want to spread the word to Ridley Scott and Nintendo.

One person making a thread about it won't spread the word to either of them. Especially when your reasons as to why this is supposedly a good idea are repeatedly shredded to ribbons in the same thread.

... Okaaaay. Good luck then, you'll probably need it.

Shhh, let him believe in his dream. Let him chase his destiny!

So POP do you think Scott would make a good director for a SMG movie or would JJ Abrams be a good director for this Sci-Fi piece of work that may be considered a masterpiece for ages and decades if it ever happens.

Um... I don't even really know who these guys are.

On the topic of a Mario Movie, I remember I found this video long ago, maybe when I was like 8 or 9 of this fake Mario Movie trailer. At that time I thought it was really amazing. But the animations and models weren't that amazing, but keep in mind, this is from 2006 from a college student. I would rather just see some type of war between the Mushroom Kingdom and Koopa Troop... but here's that video. But of course there will be no Mario Movie unless there's just a small group that decides to make one.

What do you mean you don't know who Ridley Scott and JJ Abrams are? Here is Ridley Scott:

Here is JJ Abrams:

Do you know who Ridley Scott even is POP? He is a sci fi movie director. He has won a lot of awards for a lot of movies like Alien.

JJ Abrams is best known for that 2009 Star Trek movie and Star Trek Into Darkness.

And besides he even directed that 1984 Macintosh Super Bowl Ad:

Besides I think both the Super Mario Galaxies have some music that just make me wanna cry. I think the X68000 Gradius II comes close to making me cry with some of it's beautiful music especially with the Roland MT-32 and SC-55 modules:

SMG2 just sometimes make me wanna cry due to it's beauty. It is one of the beautiful things in sci fi's existance. J.J Abrams could pull off an extremely beautiful Super Mario Galaxy movie that will make some wanna cry.

And I'm Javert said:
FUCK! damn it toad, javelin's gonna kill me if I start singing it

don't song it, don't sing it, just don't sing it, it's all gucci if i don't song it...ugh...I'm sorry, I can't hold it back anymore, let it go, let it go, turn away and slam the door!

I still need to see Frozen, it's just that ugly snow thing, it seems annoying and seems like it would ruins parts of the movie.

Back to the subject of a SMG movie, it isn't going to happen. I don't even see how a game like this could make someone cry, yes it's a brilliant game but it just doesn't have that feel. It could at least give people fuzzies such as when singing to the music, a thing I tend to do.

maybe we should start with a simpler Mario movie anyway, full on Mario vs bowser to begin with, then introduce different villains later on

oh look at that, i'm droning on again with my whole idea for the super smash bros. movie series

somebody stop me

Why should I? It seems like a fun idea.
then again they'd probably ruin it so

honestly, if they decide to make a mario movie, an avengers-style cross-movie universe would be the best way to go.

after mario you could incorporate zelda, metroid, kirby, etc. and lead up to a full-on brawl in the smash bros movie.
