Things affecting you on a personal level isn't a good measure on how bad they are.

Paper Mario Sticker Star might be a bad game, but the other bad games make it look like a masterpiece.

I know.

Most people hate Sticker Star, 06, Metroid Other M or MMX7 so they vote for it. Half of the people are affected by Mega Man X7 so they vote it.
There is no one that voted for Castlevania Lords of Shadow but I can guarantee that there are a lot of people that hate the Lords of Shadow games so they would vote it and besides Castlevania Lords of Shadow is almost on the same level as Sticker Star.

Mind if I reset the poll so that people can vote for Lords of Shadow games and Bubsy 3D?

Other M is the only one I've played and gameplay-wise I thought it was actually pretty fun, though there's no denying how bad the story is.

And no, I don't hate Super Mario Galaxy 2 because I friggin love it.

Besides the cutscenes, they have stiff controls, boring gameplay, and horrible level design, to list a few issues.

And what about Pokemon Gen 1? So many people say it's overrated that it really isn't.

And what about Pokemon Gen 1? So many people say it's overrated that it really isn't.

I don't think the first generation of Pokemon should really be among this kind of list. Maybe they've aged terribly with much more better designed Pokemon games that have been released since (And even a GBA remake of the original games that probably makes playing the original games all but obsolete unless you just prefer the retro Game Boy look of the game). But we can't forget the fact that they were recieved well for their time. Good games at their times don't become bad games that easily. And even with cases like this aged can be in the eye of the beholder.

Like my favorite Sonic games are the Adventure Series. Though there's been alot of talk in recent years about how those games have aged pretty bad. But to me, they're still some of the best the Sonic franchise has done in it's many trips to 3D where there's been many mediocre games (Ex: Black Knight, Unleashed, Both Sonic Boom games, etc) and one really, really, really terrible one (Sonic 06). And Adventure 2 in particular is still my favorite game in the franchise.

Gen 1 is the only Pokemon generation I know anything about. After that I kinda faded out of the fandom, but I'm not a genwunner.
