Why am I not surprised. While Koopa Kid was cool, he is nowhere even on the top 500 character list for Smash newcomers. Same goes to Kiddy Kong.Kart Player 2008 said:

As much as I want him in, I don't think Paper Mario's going to make the cut this game.
At this point his only chance is to be the "character from a new series" that wasn't in the full leak roster and represent the Paper series.
