Ideas for new Mario Kart tracks

How about characters driving through a bunch of generic movie settings, and the filter would make it appear as if you're in an old movie?

I was thinking of a sad, depressing Mario location, like a ruins, with sad music.

To bolster the unfitting wackiness of Mario Kart of course.

Destroyed Sammer Kingdom maybe, but I'd prefer intact Sammer Kingdom as that would make for a more interesting track. But I'd really be satisfied with a "RPG medley" track that goes through multiple locations from the RPGs, as the sole RPG thing ever to be in MK. If Smash can get a Paper Mario stage MK can have a track too right?

Wait. I just thought of something.

You start in a glass of water. Someone picks it up and drinks it, and you go through his digestive system. You glide into the toilet, drive through the sewer, and into the ocean. A fish eats you and you go through its digestive system. When you get to the stomach, a fisherman cuts it open and you drive out of the fish and onto the boat. After driving around the boat for while, you glide off the boat and back into the ocean. After a while, you wash up on a beach. You drive into a car and the family gets in and drives off. You drive around the car until they get home. Then you drive through the front door, into the family room and into the Nintendo 64 they have. Finally, you do one final lap of N64 Rainbow Road.
