When you have separately animating parts on combining sprites, depicting them all on a singular animated image can be a hassle. Take this one:

He closes his mouth every four steps, yet wags his mustache every seventh.
To properly replicate it, I had to individually drop the frames in order to my animation program (and it only does them in order, so if you mess up, you need to delete all the following frames to replace it). The frame order for this is:

some of the artists keep drawing nokis with noses and they look hysterical

i actually know the exact original sunshine npcs here! and the situation in gelato beach this was based on. very cool
