If you're using it to do the singing for you, then it's just bad. One of my favourite Youtube artists is Pogo; he does remixes that splice together sound and music clips from popular movies or television series, and he employs auto-tune to the voice clips to make it sound like they're singing. I don't mind that. But if you're meant to be a professional singer, you should practice and rely on your own talent.
