For everything Bowser

Gah don't even get me started on that.

Edit: Ah to hell with it I will.

Smash Bowser is not proper Bowser. Nothing against Sakurai but dammit Bowser is not supposed to sound like some wild beast. Neither is Donkey Kong or Diddy for that matter.

ugh yeah its irritating, i mean they got the functions down of their bodies and stuff but the voices are pretty terrible

considering all 3 of them have dialogue

Why couldn't Dark Bowser be one of the color swaps? Did they figure they couldn't have more than 1 M&L color on Bowser? Well that doesn't make sense they have the final battle song in the Wii U version so that's no excuse.

no I can't sit donkey kong nor bowser
I can't stand either of the three. Hell, I like Diddy and I find his voice unbearable sometimes.

Also, Mario and Luigi feel like hollow shells of themselves. Some of their personality is there, but it feels like a huge chunk of it is missing. Just look at Mario. Angry, extremely mellow-sounding. Ugh.

But Bowser is the worst, and it's not helping that Bowser Jr. has his original noises. Sakurai's reasoning for retaining Brawl's "realistic" noises are pretty crap. Why not just give all the Pokaymon realistic noises?

wait wait wait he calls those voices realistic?

its a freaking crossover fighter, how does that have any form of realism?

I think he did. I have to dig it up where Sakurai "justified" reusing the Brawl voice clips, but I believe one of the reasons were "they were more fitting" or some other bullcrap.

that dude has some serious issues if he thinks those are more fitting

They probably didn't care about it.

Neither do I for that matter.

Plus there is already a blue Bowser.

On another note, Bowser's voice especially annoyed me in Brawl during the SSE cutscenes since he's clearly depicted as not being a wild beast thus making his voice all the more baffling.

Well I wasn't crazy about how they turned him into a glorified henchman but it wasn't a big deal.

I agree on Mario, and I think his cheerful voice from Melee is way better, but what's wrong with Luigi's voice? He sounds fine.

Luigi sounds depressed

He sounds really unhappy, depressed, etc. Especially in his entry, (let's-a go) that's what hit me the most.

Luigi's always been a little 'off' in Smash, though.

For the original and melee you could forgive it, but after that there is no excuse.

No, you're weirder.

The difference is I embrace it
