if everybody got their favourite characters into the game, there wouldn't be enough room to even run the game

if everybody got their favourite characters into the game, there wouldn't be enough room to even run the game

so putting aside the insufferable little ingrates who call this a bad game due to it missing their favourite characters, what else did he do wrong

screwed up game mechanics and actually created a lot of imbalance even more so than melee

the game now provides a more defensive measure when it comes down to the best unlike melee where it had a good blend of offensive and defensive at the same time

l canceling, wave dashing, and some other things were a pretty big part in melee and project m's competitive gameplay that even casual players could get into

to top it off the games are much slower than melee and project m as well

basically in short the gameplay, or per see, fighting mechanics seem rather limited and generally not very well developed and its sad to see that the meta game has literally evolved into a defensive spree of boredom is pretty depressing

aside from that some of the challenges in smash 4 are pretty stupid too like clear classic on intensity 9 without losing a life or beating all star on hard with all characters and im sure there are other things

i dont think sakurai is terrible mind you but i also feel that he could have made better decisions with the series and not ditch competitive players altogether.

As having both casual and competitive players would certainly be a lot better for the series in my opinion

Screw the roster, the game mechanics matter a lot more to me. Roster is still important, but just as long as they add characters I don't really care anymore.
