E3 2015 Hopes and Speculation

Because Y-L has the original B-K and DKC teams working on it. Y'know, the people that made Rare good in the first place.

I actually would love it if modern Rare could make a good Banjo & Kazooie game. Besides, why have one great Rare platformer today when you could have TWO great Rare platformers today?

I would have to likely get an Xbox One to play it myself, so I guess there is that issue...
 
As someone who likes to watch every conference, having eight is going to be very time consuming.

I heard that Mother 3 might be getting an official localization that will be released in June soon after the show. According to the leaker, he found data for a masterpiece in Smash Wii U. I have to check to see how legit it is, but if it's true then it will be amazing. Which is why I'm sceptical.
 
ok, am i like, the only one worried that we are one month away from E3 and the only thing we know about nintendo's conference is "no smartphones, no nx, no zelda"

like, seriously; around this time last year, we had a basic video outline of what they were doing:


we don't even know if we're going back to a traditional press conference or another digital event, let alone if the treehouse format will stick around for E3; hell, we don't even know any of the games they could mention during E3

i know; there's much more fun in the surprise than there is in knowing what you're getting, but... can't they get SOMETHING put out there?
 
For Smash stuff I kind of expect a Ryu and/or Roy trailer to pop up. They'd probably have Roy first and then have Ryu come in at the end of the Smash segment to attempt to be a Solid Snake in Brawl-esque surprising addition (If we didn't already know of the data mining it would be quite a shock. For those who aren't on the internet that long to read up on Smash news though I imagine it will be quite a surprise)

Maybe another character or two (Like maybe a pretty obvious DLC choice like Wolf, especially if it's tied with a new trailer for the new Star Fox game) though I surely hope it's not just DLC characters we get and stuff like stages, next wave of Mii Fighter costumes, etc. show up in any capacity.

Oh and maybe even an announcement of the next Mario Kart 8 DLC Pack(/s) if there will be any.

EDIT: Oh and of course Lucas's Release Date assuming that they don't for some reason release Lucas before E3 starts.
 
I am looking forward to see what spin-offs Nintendo have under their sleeves. I accept all surprises!

They didn't say no Zelda; they simply said that the playable demo would not be available at E3.

I think that they are going for a more surprise approach for this year. I mean, the games they are developing we either got a decent to a ton of information about already (except games like Star Fox and Zelda), and a few of those (YWW, Mario Maker, Star Fox (tentatively)) are going to be releasing within a few months after E3. Basically we'll only have FE: If, Zelda, FE crossover, and a few others that I can't think of right now. There's a lot that can be announced. I mean, I think only FE: If was announced since E3. It will be exciting.
 
Fallout 4 was kinda obvious actually, I've been expecting to see it on last E3 already.

Appearently there's another rumour for paper mario 5 going around, but I think that has been covered in its thread already.

I'm guessing they will have at least a small event this year (Nintendo I mean), since it has been reported that they rented a small theatre earlier this year.

  • Animal Crossing U announced
  • Dai Gyakutan Saiban localisation confirmed
  • Rhythm Heaven 3DS announced for the west
  • Tomodachi Life U annnounced
  • new WarioWare please
  • Additional fighters revealed for SSB4, stage DLC also confirmed, Tourney Mode/Miiverse released shortly afterwards
  • Mother 3 confirmed for Wii U VC following information on Lucas in SSB4
  • More MK8 DLC announced
  • Yoshi's Woolly World info

sucks how i'll probably be in the middle of exams during presentation week but oh well
 
What I hope for E3:
*Announcement for more Mario Kart 8 DLC
*Another Super Mario 3D game
*Another Paper Mario
*More on Yoshi's Woolly World
*Another Donkey Kong game?
*Maybe a good 2D Mario (not a NSMB game again)
*More on Mario Maker
*Mother 3 for Wii U or something
*I don't know, maybe some acknowledgement for Mother 4? They know about it...
*More Smash Bros. content


I really don't play other Nintendo series.
