E3 2015 Hopes and Speculation

Hopefully they'll announce a release date for Beyond Two Souls on PS4 because I've always wanted to play the game and I'm planning on buying a PS4
 
Mother 3 North American release hype.

Shit, they announce anything about Mother 3 or even - and yes, I know that it's basically next to not happening - a continuation in the Mother series, I would be dying of joy.
 
Hopes:

Nintendo:
New Paper Mario
New Metroid (Even though I still need to get into it some more, I only have the original, Super Metroid, Prime 1 and Other M)
Mother 3 on VC
New F-Zero (Even though it's unlikely at this point)
New Mario Sports title
Call me crazy but I would like to see Virtual Boy on VC

Square Enix:
More KH3 info plus a trailer
Final Fantasy VII HD remake
I know they're not saying anything about Final Fantasy XV but a new trailer would be nice

  • Fire Emblem If Info/Release date - Any info would be great, but most importantly please confirm that the game won't be split into two versions, and that it won't have both stories on one cart but lock away the story you don't choose.
  • Splatoon DLC detailed - cmon i need delfino plaza in this game

i hardly expect most of this to be announced (since what i've listed would probably require a certain dev team to be working on three games simultaneously) but I would be so excited if any of the bolded actually happened

crap that time for the digital event is ultra-bad for me, no way am i watching that live

but at least it's on my final exam day for the semester so i'll be able to watch it guilt-free when i finish :luigi:

more mk8/smash dlc, a new f-zero (pls) and a new paper mario (PLS)

a wii u animal crossing would be great too

edit: also zelda wii u but i'm pretty sure they said they weren't going to do anything on it this e3
 
I hope for Mario Maker info, an Animal Crossing on Wii U, Star Fox as well I guess if it's in the same style as Lylat Wars.
And a Pokémon Z version that will make Zygarde even more broken than Mega Rayquaza, make it happen Game Freak.

That game has been in development for ages. I know Ubisoft said development is active in it in 2014 but the longer it stays in development hell, the worse off things will get. Typically.

I mean just look at Duke Nukem Forever and how that turned out.
 
the duke nukem forever we got wasnt the game that was in devlopment for almost 14 years

what we got was a game gearbox made in less than a year after they bought the ip from scratch.

They're probably going to do Pokemon X1 and Pokemon Y1. :P

I want some Mario games and again, something on Beyond Good and Evil 2 as well?
 
You know what I just realized? Next year is Sonic's 25th anniversary. Hopefully E3 will tease us for something special for Sonic in 2016. Maybe another story driven game that's hopefully more developed than what we got for his 15th anniversary
 
I just want Sonic to burn now. But I like to see another horrible Sonic game; it's always fun to crap all over it.

Just my personal opinion on Sonic, don't take it personally. I'm tired of seeing that hedgehog though.
 
If they make Pokémon Z, they need to make a lot of improvements. And please, make don't Team Flare one-dimensional villians again, and make Kalos less bland. And I doubt they will make X2 and Y2, since the surprise factor is gone.

But it's not a matter of surprise, it's a matter of splitting two versions just for the hell of it.
 
I meant that BW2 were a surprise because everyone was expecting GF to do Pokémon Grey. It wouldn't really be as surprising if they announced sequels now.

What I want to see is a prequel that gives more information on AZ and the war.

Well, yeah, but it seems like a surprise for the sake of surprise, and it does feel a tad cynical that the third version ALSO gets two versions. We know why Pokemon gets two versions: it's to encourage people to buy the game and trade. Of course, the third version also misses Pokemon from the first two, but that's not my point.
