2001: A Mario Odyssey

They should bring back King Ka-Thunk and his whole gimmick is that nobody takes him seriously.
That's a great idea. The first time my sister and I were playing and saw him we couldn't help but laugh. His angry eyes don't make him intimidating at all and to top it off, the fight was mind-numbingly easy.

Shows that Nintendo is actually aware how lame and forgettable a lot of their bosses are.

Paper Mario bosses
ah yes, who could forget tutankoopa and every single boss in super paper mario?

Fracktail is ok, though.

The radio-controlled dragon dude who is your friend but gets mind-controlled by Dimentio and dies when you kill him, after he realizes what he had done.

He's probably the most compelling character in that game.

Fracktail and Hooktail, are, like, indistinguishable to me, in terms of names.

Hooky hates crickets while Fracktail is a robot.

Dunno how I know, I just do.

Fracktail references memes.

Yeah I remember him now. Purely because of Chuggaconroy.

You're forgetting Wracktail, Gloomtail and Bonetail. Have fun differentiating all of them.

How about, Macktail? He works at the local McDonalds

I don't see the issue of bosses only appearing in one game.

It's not an automatic issue as not every boss is worth bringing back. But sometimes there are some that are really cool that I think they could bring back for another go.

Having reappearing characters makes it feel like you're playing in an interconnected world rather than a bunch of isolated microcosms. There's such a thing as having too many recurring bosses, of course (how many Junior appearances are we at?), but it's reassuring to see a familiar face.

General Shy Guy and Crystal King get a pass for their memorable themes, but it also had its share of bosses that were lame.

I won't kill you but I will tell you the first 3 are amazing and I highly recommend them.

Anyway, I wonder what the advantage to using the hat bounce over the normal long jump will be. Besides using it for vertical distance or to attack enemies I mean.

nah, you should kill him.

I will get an N64 emulator to play the first one.

Anyone have one besides Mupen64Plus? I cannot set it up. Atleast nothing with adware, malware, ransomware, you know.

Project 64 but that's because I'm a derp-o-matic who just knows the popular option.

I need a version of Project64 that does not have adware and malware in it

Your antivirus is conking out then, because there is no malware or adware with project 64, unless you just mash "Ok" on the installation without reading what crap they might install in your computer.

Try 1964, see if that works.

I haven't played a single Paper Mario game, but I've watched my bro and sister play them.

They're okay.
