Okay, I will try it.
And I worry only about the adware that I may accidentally install. Well never fear, I have Malware bytes and Avast.
 
I think the hat throw will function similar to Koops' Shell Toss in Paper Mario TTYD. If it can be held in place while Mario goes somewhere else, then released to trigger something that Mario needs to be somewhere else for.
 
The final battle will be you riding your hat like a flying saucer.
 
Seeing how tall Mario is compared to the regular humans, it would be interesting to see how Rosalina and possibly Pauline compare to them, if either of the two are going to appear in the game.
 
If they do appear in the game, they probably won't appear in the world with the humans in it.

Speaking of Mario vs Donkey Kong, I'm still waiting for another game that uses mechanics from the GBA game rather than the crap the series has done since the DS.
 
I think miniland mayhem is an excellent game within that style of lemmings esque gameplay.

Though lately most of the follow-ups to that have gone the way of NSMB with essentially the same things but with minor tweaks.

minis are like the rabbids of that sub-series.

I wouldn't compare this game's weirdness to SPM's weirdness since beyond the humans you can see how odyssey is still grounded in that Mario style.

It amuses me how these guys are wearing the same shoes and gloves as Mario.
 
Don't a lot of people wear similar attire, especially the shoes, in the Mario world?

That seems more like a technical goof than anything.

yep, but the fact that their body shape is also the same as mario's makes it more amusing.
 
While everyone focuses on the humans, why does no one ever discuss on how ridiculously un-Mario this is as well? This thing doesn't even look like it belongs in a Mario game and that's what I love about it.
