2001: A Mario Odyssey

Maybe I can chip in about this, but when I was much younger, like 12-15, I used to dislike lyrics in anything mainly because they're used in everything including rap and pop songs and those seemed to play everywhere. I don't want to sound like a snob, but I think people, like past me, who dislike songs just because they have vocals just need to expand their palette; typically they listen to mainly video game music so I think those who complain about vocals have a library of only video game music and maybe some other music that lack vocals like jazz but otherwise, they're reluctant to listen to anything outside of that because they think "mainstream" or "modern" music suck and "vocals are so overrated and used everywhere". But again, I did enjoy Ai no Uta and Calling to the Night though I used to call those exceptions.

I speak from my own personal experience just for a case study and I am still, I feel, having a limited palette of music as well, but it has definitely expanded and my appreciation for music outside of video game music (and therefore, vocals) is higher and video game music actually became something I don't regularly listen to.

You can't really blame Daisy though.

Wow... this game looks super weird and I don't even know what to think. Definetly looks interesting. Glad to see them actually do fanservice for once with the costumes. The Bowser amiibo is also amazing.

nintendo just really hates daisy for some reason lol.
To be fair don't we all

At least, she got an appearance in Mario Maker and had an amiibo.
Then I only heard the rejoice of one hardcore Daisy fan named memoryman3.

Is the frog a reference to Diddy Kong Pilot?

Yeah, Shokora, we all know what it's really a reference to.

I just watched gameplay of the game, and I like how the game isn't too much oriented around taking control of stuff. And who knew Pauline was going to be the mayor? It was expected she'd appear because it is related to DK, but not that! Overall, I'm hyped for the game. And it's great that coins now let you purchase stuff. This game also may be getting better from here, we still have until October so the game comes out, so there is a lot more to it than just that.

Is that why she's a regular in the multiplayer party spinoffs? :luigi:
It's the ultimate form of torture. Nintendo pretends to gives a *bleep* to trick rabid fanboys into riling up for a lost cause and then make them squirm and writhe in agony every time they push Daisy off the metaphorical cliff.

And they, not us, get the last laugh as the rabid fanboys take it to video game forums.

Where no one gives a shit.

We certainly do, evidenced by how much we talk about Daisy and respond to those people.

I got both to work in harmony.

Anyways, the producer said that the Rosalina amiibo is his favourite amiibo out of the bunch...wonder if this means Mario crossdressing as Rosalina or Daisy is an actual thing.
