Most Notable Mario Fanart? [Sourcing your images are encouraged]

I've finally caught up with this thread, giving out "Likes" to most of the fanart like candy. I know people think it's ridiculous that I go through the entire thread, but most of the threads I made never got this big, so as a gesture of appreciation, I gave "Likes" to most of the fanart that are posted here. While going through this thread, I am surprised to see that Rosalina's been a pretty big presence back then, but not so much now, probably because most of the Rosalina posters are not that active in this thread.

Anyway, a while back then, there was a series of Japanese block art known as "Ukiyo-E" based on Nintendo characters, and as you can tell, there were some Mario-related ones: Donkey Kong and Mario Kart:

Nintendo Force makes some fanart posters of their own, sent out to subscribers of their magazine. Most of these are centered around Mario or have Mario elements:

Dr. Mario is represented as an amiibo though, so it doesn't make sense to have a token over his character.

Envisioning grown up versions of the old Donkey Kong games, this artist renders his interpretation of Mario and Pauline as if they are the parents of the Mario brothers we know now, along with Donkey Kong Jr., who is the father of modern Donkey Kong and son of Cranky Kong.

Usually when this GIF comes up, it's for excitement, but it can be used for astonishment also.

This is a very cool project: the artist constructed a diorama where the Mario characters fixed a Mario mech, and you can see the various characters in different places. You might even find Luigi and Bowser Jr. in some places you can't normally see.

Yeah, and it totally ignored the Sprixie proncess and hid them under some staircases.
