Ah yes, this is very likely inspired by Game & Watch Gallery 4's Boxing. I wonder if Waluigi is always the opponent if you select Mode B, because I never got to experience the 2 Player parts of that game. If that's the case, it's very awesome!

i thought it was because he was so casually sitting next to Peach and since he is usually big and bad, its kinda embarassing for him to be so out of character.

The marks next to Waluigi indicate that Waluigi just found out that his overalls aren't drawn correctly.
 
This is my first exposure on fanart of offspring of Mario characters, and I think this looks really good. I wonder if there are fans imagining what Mickey or Donald's children are like...

It's a Mario / Left 4 Dead 2 mashup. In this case, I've based Mario off Ellis (you can see Ellis in my signature). I've modeled everything and I mean everything from scratch, in Maya. That took me hours. The face was hard to nail, but I think every part was kind of a challenge, like simulating the cloth. Unwrapped with UVLayout. Texture and render through Substance. This isn't rigged yet, so I can't post him. Once I do, maybe he'll hold that shotgun.

Oh, and the textures aren't completely done. I think the pants need a little more detailing. But overall, I think this model is turning out to be real good.

It's not like Piantas and moustaches don't mix. After all, there are quite a few Piantas with moustaches: one of the Pianta police, the Pianta mayor, the Pianta mafia all have moustaches. Anyway, the Pianta police matches up with the appearance of this blue Pianta here:
